The unsaid part is that you were to sell your 5% bond to buy a 6% you would not get your $1000 back (so you can buy the 6% bound), you'll get $999 or something like that so it makes no difference whether you sell or keep. Either way, you're you cannot take advantage of the new rate except buying the new bond with new cash.

Apparently major declines that took place when the market was at over-sold levels include the following crashes - Oct 87, May 94, June 99, March-21 (Crypto) and Oct 22 Nasdaq

Watched an interview with Luke Gromen (Blockworks)- much of it went over my head, but he seems to think that there's a lot more room for TLT to drop (circa 75 I think).
Are twenty year treasuries still a recommended buy by Lance?
I have been buying TLT. Im using Aussie dollar so the exchange rate isnt flash. TLT will do well but if the dollar drops like it did last time the and drop in the dollar will erase my gains when i sell.
