- Near Downtown Portland, we walk through NW 23rd & 21st Avenue. My first recording with Tascam DR-05 and Roland CS-10EM to record 3D (Binaural) audio. Headphones are recommended. Recorded with an iPhone 8 Plus.
Nob Hill is a neighborhood within the Northwest District similar to the Nob Hill in San Francisco. There are many trendy restaurants and shops here and a must visit if you're coming to Portland.

My first time recording audio like this while making a video. There definitely are a few places in the video where loud sounds just distort the audio. But since then I believe I've learned to use the recorder better so the sound recordings on future days should get better.

I use to go to McMinemens. Monthly for meetings. Finding parking was a challenge although some spots opened up after work hours.
I have visited Portland 5 times over the past couple of years and I just have can't get over how clean and vibrant this city is. I love these walks you share as I am infatuated with your city! Thanks, from Missouri!

It is an ominous walk knowing that this is their final year of bliss. I saw a video of Berlin in the 30s that looked just as blissful.

from the POV of someone who will be tranferring there for work in a year, this is EXACTLY what I needed...walk tours are underrated...especially for a city like Portland, that has take some very hard hits from social media and what have you. Ive visited a few times. And always loved the city. Im a foodie and an outdoors guy, so Im pretty sure I'll be fine. Im single and ready to mingle.

despite the hits these past several years, things here are looking so much better in Portland lately. I work in town every day and have definitely noticed an improvement. If you made the move for work I hope you're enjoying this rad city!

Yup this was taken in the summer
its not as bad as people say tbh....last year we were 8" under the national average. What does happen 7-8 months out of the year is cloud cover....if you love the sunshine all day every day, Portland isnt for you.

This area looks so much better than Alberta. Trying to decide where to move to. I'm vegan so I deff want vegan food nearby. Nob hill seems to have a lot.

I was on 21st/23rd last weekend and it looks just like that except the restaurants converted street parking into outdoor restaurant space during the pandemic.
