Don't forget off hands for the wind, like +1 charge (+1 pet?), freezing/slowing, etc.
Also, that +30% duration on Ice Armor can actually work with the older damaging auras on off hand, and definitely drop the meteor, since that one makes you STOP to use.
I see a better farm build with the new disintegrate, orb torrent and nova, plus slow time helmet. On pants either extra damage on torrent or one of the essences with disintegrate.

Thank you for your video!! im not sure with scorch and storm bird one but disintegrate seems useful. btw can wizard be more tanky? Whenever my paper wizard dies from a light attack, i wanna change to another character
I was in this same predicament. I came up with a simple solution.
I use duskprowler pet for absorb shield and atleats 2 pc mountebank as well as shield ancestral invocation. I seem to always have a shield up. May lose a little dmg from losing 2 set pcs for mountebank.... but then again you can't do any damage when you are dead.

the new autoaim disintegrate shoulder paired with increased range + 100% uptime pants is really amazing.
The birds ability is like wizard used boomerang lol it can surely give dh a run for their money
With Bloody Reach effects doubled on summons, maybe there is a way to make a viable build.

The uptime is way too short on these. The wind birds are there half the duration of a hurricane.
That Disintegration beam looks awesome! Have you checked if the Seed of Sown set pieces will increase the damage of the beam? Please let us know! (^_^)
sadly Seed of Sown, don't work with it. Shepard, does work with it, since it is consider summon now.
I see using off hand essence The Siphon for buff nova i tested it it helps nothing just waste slot i think its already has no cd and max movespeed 3.6% cd helps nothing here
Still a big dissapointment for me. Im not gonna use anything from this set, except maybe pants. Extra tankiness can be useful for me. But this summons for me are big FU finger from Blizz
animation serpent is so poor... they could simply make them range hit.... spitting or something and that's it.
i really dont like this shit items for wizard summon things are so bad for wiz not buff at all
