It sucks that the long kiss goodnight didn't make a shit ton of money, it's awesome, I highly recommend
A Long Kiss Goodnight is one of my favorite Geena Davis films, besides Beetlejuice.
Her transfomation from housewify to outlaw in Thelma & Louise was amazing. I have watched that movie again and again over the years and i love it more and more every time i see it.
I really liked Cutthroat Island. No magic or curses just old school pirate film. Wasn't amazing but I found it fun.
Damn, this retrospective made me remember how much I love Geena Davis! I'm a child of the 80s so she's always been a part of my life. Thanks for spotlighting this enduring icon!
My first crush was the pink ranger. Then, it was Geena in The Long Kiss Goodnight. She was so impressive in that movie and it still holds up. Even Sam Jackson said it was the most underrated project he ever worked on.
I met her in the Denver airport about five years ago. She is really tall.
I still think that "that horrible pirate movie" is actually quite good.

Gina Davis in A league of their own was literally the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. Her angles her face her raw beauty was intoxicating. I think she aged a little oddly- still pretty but her face chsnged. Look at Alyssa Milano- she looked the same most of her life- that equals work in Hollywood. Gina was and is legendary -
What a natural beauty and a good actress, I hope she doesn't give up she's too good to do that.
I ran into her at a pizza shop in Hollywood a year ago. She brushed past me and touched me before I realized it was her. I had just seen The Long Kiss Goodnight for the first time and loved it. Beetlejuice has always been my absolute #1 favorite. I've seen it about 60 times since childhood.

It wasn't until I watched this that I realized how many of her films I've never seen.
Long kiss goodnight........ totally underated, stands with die hard and letal weapon.
Still like Cutthroat Island, even now and A Long Kiss Goodnight.
