These were made for Philips by Loewe, around 1985, there was a red version with a Pye badge (Pye Red Box) and a computer beige version badged Philips which were part of a Viewdata kit. These TV's are not remote control sets. My CZcams profile picture is the Pye version! - I also have a complete spare working tube :)
Don't bin it, it is certainly repairable. Better than necking it... If somehow not rapairable, because a wire got pulled out from deep inside the coil, source an other deflection coil. This thing is too nice to bin it, especially with such a strong tube.
Mistakes sometimes happens. I know it too well.
