I prefer Great Value brand peanut butter! It's smooth and not too sweet. The All Natural one is good too.
I prefer Great Value brand peanut butter / It's smooth and not too sweet . The Natural one is good too .
I think you need to eat the entire content of both jars to really tell the difference.
For someone who's a over the road truck driver the great value and krogers are the same co packer.
I agree completely. Walmart peanut butter, including the natural kind, is very good and my go-to brand. In fact, most Great Value items (with a few exceptions) are neck and neck in taste, quality, and much better in value. Thanks for the taste test!

You have to be careful with the "value." At least by me, there are many great value products are more expensive than some name brands.
GO JIF GO JIF
YES PEANUT BUTTER YES PEANUT BUTTER
I started buying Great Value after JIF got recalled. I was shocked at how much I like it. It has a very genuine pure peanut taste. Better than Skippy.
The walmart brand rips the bread trying to spread it and its dry af. Jif is way better on taste and spreadability
Thanks for the information and for watching.
I don't have problem with the spread. Its better if the bread is toasted.
Its probably the bread you're using
Spread it on the bread using the back of the spoon and if us refrigerate peanut butter let it catch up to room temp before applying it.
Jif vs Skippy peanut butter !
Funny you should ask because while I am writing this I am uploading tomorrows video...Skippy vs Peter Pan. I will do Jif vs Skippy in the future. Thanks for the suggestion, keep watching.
Could you do a compare if the crunchy peanut butters? And I was wondering about the nutritional content... is it the same?
I will be adding nutritional content in future videos, thanks for the suggestion. And yes I will do a crunchy peanut butter video. Keep watching.
I love walmart great value items. I grew up on generic items so I buy mostly generic but sometimes i find the original better priced.
Same workers, same factory, you',re paying extra for advertising.
Thanks for the comment and that is totally what it seems like happens.
It’s true. But it’s not from the Jif plant. The Walmart brand is Peter Pan.
Both have molasses in them, other peanut butter brands don't. Walmart peanut butter is probably made by Jif.
Mmmm molasses!
GV tastes nothing like Jif, tastes closer to Peter Pan. Both are better than Jif
@@BC08 Read the ingredients on Jif and GV both the same plus Peter Pan doesn't have molasses
@@clutchcargo5259 Neither the ingredient list nor the nutritional info matches between Jif and GV
@@BC08 They both have molasses or did you conviently miss that 🤔
Maybe compare all the different brands of peanut butter? Skippy, pb and co, the natural versions?
Great idea! I was not aware of Peanut Butter & Co. until now. Thank you, keep watching.
Im a petter pan peanut butter fan
About a year ago, I saw that the ingredients included molasses in the Great Value brand - just like Jiff - so I bought it and I love it! It tastes great and bakes great! The problem is the Walmart stores around me have been out of it for weeks. 😣

I always use Peter Pan peanut butter and I prefer it, I think I’ve only used Jif peanut butter a few and that the times when I couldn’t find Peter Pan.
I was surprised also. The GV is better toasted, and actually has less sugar than Jif
ut original Jig has hydrdogenated oil per google; what about Great Value?
I like old home peanut butter in the cold section, i see its on sale for $3.50, says no stir on it but i stir it, just peanuts and a bit of sea salt, shits good
I have never heard of old home peanut butter. I will try to find it. Thanks Tom!
👋🏻 😊 thanks have a great day I’ll stick with great value
Good stuff! Thanks.
Generic labels, even if made by a national label, aren't the same recipe. They have less peanut oil, more substitute fats and more sweeteners.
received these products for free from Influenster to give my opinion and I really love peanut butter because it does not contain sugar and it is ideal for when you want to maintain weight also the jam is sugar free is sweetened with an ideal sweetener I loved it I recommend the flavor

Agree that GV is better. It spreads well enough for me.
Dude they got this cha-Ching brand here at NC food lion it’s super addictive like a drug basically I can’t stop eating it as soon as I pop the jar open and it only cost 1.24$ for 17 0z
I thought so also! I was shocked when i did this test also. I only buy the walmart brand now.
Thanks for the comment.
THIS GUY WILL BECOME DIABETIC FROM THE SUGAR
I have been a jif snob for years.
My wife bought some of the Kroger Brand creamy for a cooking recipe because she didn't want to use my jif.
Upon seeing this I decided to do an independent taste test first the jif yep taste just like I remember lol
Now the Kroger Brand I had to double check to make sure I didn't stick the spoon in the wrong jar it tasted almost the same and as a heck of a lot cheaper.
I read the ingredients on both jars and they're identical I would assume the Great value is the same in fact all the jars are identical makes you wonder if they just slap different labels on them.
Great Value is made by the company that makes Peter Pan peanut butter

The bread can impact the taste also.
Why but Jif VS. Skippy?!!
That sounds like a good video. Thank you for the suggestion.
I agree
I was surprised by the result.
GV to me tasts more like fresh roasted peanuts, not sweet, just right.
this aged well
Walmart brand jif is recalled
Jif doesn't make Great Value. TheJif recall caused a run on PB. My local Target didn't have any in stock for weeks.
But I will say this-I tried Great Value for the first time after JIF was recalled and see no reason to go back. I am surprised how good it tastes.
You should try Laura Schudder's PB.. or not. I hated that stuff! My stepdad forced us to eat it and the crunchy kind. It has oil on top of the jar that you're supposed to mix in after opening. WAY too oily. Cool challenges you have on your channel. So what's better.. Jif or Skippy? I think I liked Skippy better but it's been awhile since I had both. Have an off brand right now don't eat PB much.
