I just realized there's a dubbing error towards the end. Krillin is fighter 93 but the ref said 90 when he won.

A thing I particularly love about this episode is how Goku and Krillin show their friendship... They are so cute as they celebrate each other's success in the tournament! There's no other friendship like that in DB and DBZ...

Oh yeah, I forgot a year past! THANKS! In the japanese, he sounds like a kid. For some reason, they made him sound like an adult in the dub. They left out goku's hood accent in the dub as well.

Really fun episode. Great to see Krillin standing up to his bullies. Goku is a great supportive friend.

I love this! Toriyama is a massive fan of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies and i love the fact that Bruce Lee imposter in Dragon Ball is more of a gag character but in reality Bruce Lee is the greatest martial arts ever in the real world even invented Ultra Instinct known as Mushin or No Mindedness a martial arts endgoal technique
This is a major turning point for Kuririn. It turns out The too cool for school persona was actually a front to hide the soul crushing pain he suffered at the bullies. The reunion threatens to break Kuririn until Goku reassured him that he has done the training and is stronger than them. In doing so, Goku has poured cement on their relationship. To Kuririn its BF4E.
15:12 The Manga & Japanese has Kuririn surprised that the Kamesennin Training actually worked, as he was able to withstand all of Bruce Lee’s moves with no pain at all.

It's always great when bullies get what they deserve. The realization Krillin and Goku went through that perhaps the Master P knew what he was doing is awesome. The joy and fun they are experiencing is great too. It's nice to see Yamcha kicking ass.
....I don't think the 'Japanese' Bulma offered Oolong 'Candy'. EDIT: (Ai Copilot) ブルマ (Bulma) offered ウーロン (Oolong) a pair of her panties in exchange for him transforming into a ladder. This humorous moment is a part of the comedic and sometimes risqué antics that are found throughout the series. It showcases Bulma’s resourcefulness and Oolong’s shapeshifting abilities

In the manga theres a mention that the candy Bulma gave Oolong wears off after a few months. She shouldn't still be able to use it, but it's a filler scene anyway.
