Making of a Movie - Time (Kim Ki-Duk)

Like a lot of Kim Ki-Duk films, this has a dual perspective structure. We follow Ji-Woo for the first half of the film, his struggle to deal with Seh-Hee's sudden disappearance. The film is designed to show that the love Seh-Hee and Ji-Woo had was great, giving them both exactly what they needed. In the moments where they're together, there is happiness. Outside, they are unable to find that same connection with anyone else, and yet, through their fear of losing each other, they wind up destroying their relationship.

Everything, including actors/acting, is a working material for him that he uses to build up a life story that everyone can relate to. He is very specific and knows exactly what he needs, thus tons of instructions to cameramen in order to create not only the right angle, but the right context - personal, cultural, emotional, social, psychological and global, that he layers in every scene, scene by scene as a true master. Sad that he is not filming. Most of his cameramen are now working on hollywood movie industry... I cant even imagine how painful it must have been for him.

Seh hee is smart character to have plastic surgery and pusue better pic, if she was better looking at first place she could be more steady in her life and she could prevent herself to not encounter alot of gelousy and emotional conflicts
