      I am not Jewish, but Melanie is as on so many things so correct. But the rot of Woke goes deep in modern collapse of real values. Climate hysteria, absurd Ed Miliband policies, Starmer etc etc, do they they not see? No, not the end of European Jewry, but perhaps one day a wakeup call, and that could start for us westernerswith reading the Koran and its true motives....

      @gilashmueli5904 Před 14 dny +1

      As an old Israeli, it would be with tremendous sadness that I would see European Jews, once again, forced to leave their beloved homelands.
      However, if Europe is unsafe, so is Israel. Their decision to come to Israel must be made on more than the quest for physical safety. Israel is a tough country in almost every way, especially for those who come from England's green and pleasant land. Or from la douce France.
      If UK Jews are to find a true home here, their decision must be above all a spiritual and moral one. It surely requires a wrestling with oneself and resultant clarity on what it is one wants from life, on what is most important. It might be about a richer Jewish life (religious or secular), about family and social values, about self-respect, or other human treasures. It would be a formative decision, as life changing as getting married, or having children. Whoever undertakes it, should view it as an irreversible decision. Otherwise, it will be hard to take root here.
      Unfortunately, Jews have rarely come to Israel out of free and happy choice. To think, if only Jews had responded with courage to the Zionist call in the first three decades of the 20th century, how much blood and anguish might have subsequently been spared!
      When I try to imagine what a large influx of European or American Jews might do for Israel, and what it might do for them, it takes my breath away. But I don't often indulge in this fantasy of the double blessing.
      Still, whoever you are, whatever you decide to do, here or there, may you be strong and courageous. חזקו ואמצו.

Too much time went by from the dispersal by the Romans to the modern resettlement for it to ever work. It has proven over the last nearly 100 years to be unworkable. It was unfortunate that the populace proved so troublesome for the Romans that they got driven out.

There was a referendum for that which included Shengen. Regarding Melanie's reluctance to engage in predictions about Labour's and the UK's political future, I'll bravely take the perilous stroll out onto a shaky limb of prognostication to say that the Labourite left's obsession with climate change and "net zero" will prove to be it's political downfall. If Labour passes it's Draconian agenda to abolish fossil fuels for transportation and domestic energy production, it will lead to economic chaos and political collapse in the name of global climate change. As divisive as mass immigration and wokeism is for British culture, one thing that will inevitably unite virtually all Britons regardless of political stripe in opposition to Labour's reign will be its catastrophist green energy policies. When costly and grossly inconvenient mandated all-electric transportation and unaffordable electricity and home heating fuel devastates the national and individual economies, the population will revolt. When the average Islamist taxi driver and the personally conservative Yorkshire farmer can no longer afford to pay for a liter of petrol or a cubic meter of natural gas to heat his home, they will be united in their white hot hatred of the Labour politicians who've brought them to their economic knees. Mark my words. It will come sooner rather than later.

    • @AM-mw2wu
      @AM-mw2wu Před 29 dny +2

      I'm from the UK and the Labour party won by 34% of votes. 80% of the people who bothered to vote didn't vote for Labour. This election was about getting revenge on the Conservative Party. Not because everyone loves Labour. If the majority of people had turned up to vote overwhelming for Labour then this would be impressive. And Labour would be considered very popular with a high votes base. This is not the case.
      Unfortunately for Labour 80% of voters didn't even vote for them. The UK also has a First Past the Post election system which is not proportional representation. When people around the world hear and read that the Labour party won in the UK by a landslide, this simply isn't true. Labour got less votes this election than in 2019 under Jeremy Corbyn. And the current Labour leader Keir Starmer has a low popularity rating. He's a weak leader and he knows it. Labour only won because of our FPTP election system. No other reason.
      They are unpopular and worse than the Conservative Party. Both parties are useless but Labour are worse! The Mu slims refused to support Labour because Labour are undecided when it comes to Gaza. They aren't pro Palestine enough. Mus lims used to always vote for Labour but refused to this time because of Palestine. However some Mus lims did end up voting Labour, others chose independent candidates or pro Palestine parties. And the Mu slims are at loggerheads with each other because they were divided on who to vote for. Next election they might be more organised than this election. But be assured, Labour in the UK aren't popular with 80% of voters who didn't vote for them.

  • @george6977
    @george6977 Před 27 dny +5

    The electorate did not choose Labour. Most people voted for the the centre right but as the Conservatives only talked about controling immigration many voted for Reform so the right vote was split, allowing Labour to win given our first past the post system.

  • @AM-mw2wu
    @AM-mw2wu Před 29 dny +8

    For anyone not from the UK, please be aware we have a First Past the Post election system. This is not a proportional representation system. Feel free to look into FPTP. 80% of voters didn't vote for Labour. They got 34%, Conservatives 24%, Reform UK 17.7% etc Labour got lower votes this election than they did in 2019. Keir Starmer the Labour leader, has a low popularity rating of any Labour leader. He's a very weak leader.
    This election was intended to unseat the Conservative Party and make them pay for failing the UK for the last decade and more in power. Labour are just as useless. Therefore 80% of voters didn't vote for Labour. They won because of the FPTP election system and because voters wanted to make the Conservative Party pay for their failures. If the majority of voters had turned up and voted Labour in large numbers say 80%, then you could say voters wanted Labour. They didn't! 80% voted for other parties and independent candidates, not Labour.
    We have a new party in the UK called Reform. They are popular as well. And they are a direct challenge to the Conservative Party because they are also Conservative in agenda. The Reform party under Nigel Farage their leader, wanted to destroy the Conservative Party. They succeeded. Next up for destruction are the Labour party who 80% of voters didn't vote for. They are going to be destroyed soon by their own hand and by Reform UK. It's been 8 days since our election and Labour are already messing up and making citizens angry. We're already angry because of the Conservative Party. However Labour are chipping away at an already angry population. Give it 2 years and they'll be out. They won't last 5 years or more. Another election will be called soon. And Reform UK know this and are preparing themselves. Many people including myself know what's coming. And it's Labour's collapse. Citizens are fed up, protests will start and citizens will revolt against the govt. It's only a matter of time. And the Labour party are not united either. They can't stand each other so they will crumble from within.
