12 year old Filipina, Chriztel Renae Gamboa Aceveda, who moved to Croatia 3 years ago sings her rendition of a Međimurje (northernmost part of Croatia) traditional folk song Dej Mi, Bože (Give Me, God) during her audition for Supertalent (Croatia Got Talent) receiving a standing ovation and a resounding, unending applause. Not only that she made the judges and a lot from the audience emotional but she also made history being awarded as the first ever Audience Golden Buzzer in the show. The judges wanted to award her a golden buzzer but the judges and the hosts have all previously used up their golden buzzers. It was mentioned that never in the history of the show that the audience stood up for someone before, which led to a spontaneous moment of awarding her a historic audience golden buzzer.
(Update: She also became the first and only to receive a yet again historic second golden buzzer during the semi-final rounds awarded by one of the judges securing her place on the finals on the Jubilee 10th season of the show.)
"Dej mi, Bože" is a folk song-prayer about our longing for the person we love.
Lyrics translation:

Fun fact: Filipinos are story tellers when they sing. They let you feel what the song is all about. They let you feel that the audience are a part of the song. The song that she sang was patriotic, full of love and I guess she dedicated the song to Croatia or a particular place in Croatia. The song gave me goosebumps and honestly, it made cry! 🇨🇦

I know Croatians pretty well, we were the same country in the past, now we are neighbours and I lived there for ten years, so I can say this quite confidently.
Croatians, generally, don't like foreigners very much. But if you show them respect, you will get their respect.
Chriztel gave them real respect and got their respect in return. She made a brave choice, she sang a Croatian song, but she didn't play it safe, she didn't chose a very popular Croatian song, this song is not very well known, it is specific to the region and it is the right song to show her abilities.
Respect goes both ways, you give and get. They, Chriztel and the Croatian audience, played it the right way. Mostly we expect respect from others, but respect is not given, it is earned and they all showed us how it works. She gave them respect and she got it in return. Just the way it should be.
Big thumbs up to all of them! And let's not forget her parents and their upbringing.
This girl has a bright future ahead. Her talent combined with her attitude.

Chriztel was magical in her singing a cappella (that is without musical or instrumental accompaniment) a traditional folk song of northern Croatia! Her Golden Buzzer - the first one ever given by an audience in Croatia - was totally deserved! At the age of 12, it must be said that her talent is immense! Her modesty clearly reveals that she has no idea of how gifted she is! While Chriztel was singing, the tears were flowing from my eyes like a waterfall and I thought to myself, "Now this is what a true superstar sounds like!"

I also came to live in Croatia, za to vrijeme Jugoslavija, many years ago when I was only a few years older than you, pa je ostala ona i njena tradijonalna muzika u dubini moga srca do današnjeg dana. I’ve also never heard a Međimurje song - almost any song - sung so beautifully and with so much heart and depth as you brought to that song and that stage. Ja sam radim kao muzičar/ pjevač već 50 godina (ponekad pjevam i ja još uvijek međimurske pjesme od vremena do vremena :), pa si ti mene podigla na krilama tvoje pjesme i tvog glasa do samih visina muzičke i umjetničke radosti i ljepote.
