I did posted on multiple videos to come see you and start budgeting. I also recommended him to start do makeover series along with his regular stuff to ride on a wave documentary gave him, and seeing him here makes me wonder if it was me who gave him an idea... I will never know but i hope Boogie gets to turn his life around. Not everyone gets second chance, i hope he will not let it go to waste.
Prepare yourself for an hour and forty-five minutes of the “Caleb makes a valid criticism, boogie tells a wildly unrelated story” show.
Hey, its been an hour and forty-five minutes since I've last read your comment and I've come back to say... man you were so right.

If you made this comment before watching, then you really have been paying attention to Boogie.

He’s not even broke, he just begs people to give him money to sustain his current lifestyle.
Is it too late for Boogie to go into politics? Because he’s really good at talking in circles and never answering questions lmao
Nah he’d probably break the fence with how much he sits on it

"No."
He seemed really excited about the notion of stealing, in fact. He was the one who brought it up, too. It was like he’s just trying to find a way to outright steal to live.

@@nameforcomments4092 Fun fact: He plagiarized someone's video a few weeks later. So he actually is stealing to live

This is a reusable comment.
Shamelessly turning this into copypasta now
Boogie: I’ll do anything to survive. Anything.
Caleb: Including stopping spending $900/month on fast food?
Boogie: It’s an addiction and it’s not my fault
Man that was so frustrating hearing that
I'm in no way standing up for boogie here, 900 a month on fast food is absolutely insane and he needs to cut that down immediately
BUT I do want to push back on people who act like you can just stop immediately as easy as that, that's not the case. The problem with food addiction is that the rewards are so immediate, you order it and it arrives at your house is half an hour, but the consequences are so much slower and so down the line it's hard to associate the two in your head, it takes real discipline to break an addiction like food
Again, not standing up for boogie, he needs to work on this issue, desperately. But it's not as simple as a lot of people pretend either...
Edit: since people continue replying to me assuming I'm trying to defend boogie, let me say for the THIRD TIME, I'm NOT defending boogie, this comment is about the issue of people assuming that weight loss is easy IN GENERAL. If you reply to this and mention boogie I'm going to assume you're an idiot who can't read and ignore you, to everyone else, thank you for your time

I’m shocked at the lack of pushback. There’s noooo way.
Yeah, 3 people: Me, myself, and I.

Boogie is one of those people that have been in the mental health industry for so long they can just regurgitate psychiatric ideas, vocabulary, and ideologies in order to sound smart and give an answer for every valid point you make, when in reality they aren’t really saying anything
😂
It's like that Sunny in Philly meme "He's listening but he's not understanding." 🤣🤣
Exactly.
Yep... I've had people in my life that I've had to keep saying the same thing too about mental health as well and what happens is they are very narcissistic and then turn around and use those words and try to use them against me and use them to convince other people there okay and they know what they're talking about and they know all about mental health. So they're pretty crazy.

Boogie never is at fault but then he is a degenerate furry who likes getting pegged
@@cizzymacYup, also realize just how much he was talking, he definitely mainly came on just for the attention.

I also felt really uncomfortable by that. It's so weird to see someone reject someone else's issues because they believe their issue is bigger.
For every truth this dude says, he has 3 lies to spew.
Is your phone financed? _No, it was free_ - *It wasn't, he financed it*
How many people do you feed? _Oh, just me and the chick_ - *Nope, he feeds 3-4 people*
How close are you to paying off your car? _Oh, one or two more payments_ - *Nope, he's only paid half of the loan*

@@w8ting4fri oh yea that's fine. You can lie to people about your bank balance, but you can't lie to your bank about it.

caleb is trying to get boogie to talk about money, boogie is trying to treat it is a therapy session
What's worse is he said therapy changed him and he doesn't self pity or look for sympathy anymore but then he has a sad past story behind every bad decision he's making now. Caleb can't even get him to talk about the future, he just wants to talk about how bad he has it.
Typical victim. Lets ignore all the problems and just give me sympathy.
Everything he says is an explanation for why he did what he did. When Caleb asks him if he's got a history of justifying everything, he's doing his best to be nice. He's been doing nothing but justifying the whole audit. This was supremely entertaining, but completely predictable every single minute

Then Boogie went on the Lolcow podcast and trash-talked Caleb. I hate Boogie so much.

One of the first things I did when we needed money asap unexpectedly, having no savings, was sell all my high value MtG cards. It broke my soul to do it, but at the end of the day, they're just paper, and the money helped more than playing cards.

This stuff about the credit score is crap. My house has no mortgage, no car loans, no credit card debt, no 0% loans, etc. And our credit scores are still 840-842.
Credit score is a calculation of how good a credit risk you are. If you pay everything off- if you pay anything off that ends a loan (unlike credit cards) your score goes down. You are leas valuable to the loan industry if you don’t need loans and don’t have other loans tying you down.
Lets be honest. Boogie is not going to do anything with this advice.
In one ear and out the other.
The real issue here is the fact that Boogie seems to literally refuse to go outside his comfort zone at all. Whether it be taking on extra work to supplement, cut people off, cut his fast food intake, etc…
A big part of it is he's a terminal excuse maker and he excuses his lifestyle as "I can't help my finances being shit I'm addicted to this or that" because to admit that he actually has the power to turn his life around and do so would require effort to make that change which is something boogie simply refuses to do.
Normally I would agree with this but to what limited credit he deserves, he’s a 50 year old, heavily obese man with a criminal record and genuine disabilities. I’m normally able to watch an entire episode all the way through with no interruptions but this one I had to log off and come back to it. It was exhausting listening to his incessant excuses and not seeing any progress being made.
He better work on his health or he won't have to worry about the same mindset.
i love watching your videos, been watching and having them in the background whilst playing games or just chillin, very informative and entertaining

I can eat good for 100 but I can survive for 70..no joke
Also Boogie: I wonder why I'm not losing any weight
For those that feel bad for him, don't. He had 750k usd plus other valuables. Dude spent it on useless collections, expensive 'escorts', bought them expensive purses with giftcards, invested heavily into new cryptos, etc. All of this without paying off his house for 150k. Now he's playing the woe is me card. In a recent documentary he stated he does not want to work a regular job because he is a legendary youtuber.. Again don't feel bad for him.
I think folks can see through the BS. I was around when Boogie was big. He fell off so hard and then just begged for money. Everything he’s got going on right now is 100% self inflicted. Poor planning, poor decision making, poor advice from inner circle.
Legendary youtuber 🤢
I used to be a follower of his and he has, many many times, made a huge f*k up, apologize, *feel sorry for me please* behavior, and then continue to make mistakes, rinse and repeat.
He does not deserve any sympathy
Just watching for the trainwreck.
and he's got at least 600k extra in liquidities in his home including the home itself, he's a pity artist
Caleb, you've earned a subscription.
That said, the last 30 minutes of this conversation was the most depressing and frustrating viewing experience I've had in a very long time. Good gods.
Couple things - dude has yet to admit his faults and actually ask for help. He’s only here to boost his following (look at his timing). He has pushed back on every idea Caleb has thrown his way. You can’t change stupid. Let him dig his own grave.
I have friends like Boogie. I learned you can’t fix them. Learn to love them or move on.
Sympathy is their drug of choice
Great advice
Wise words. If you try to help them, you will lose your mind.
Bingo
I had one friend exactly like him also. Also fat and useless. It was fun hanging out to have some laugh. But never in my life I would do anything important with the guy.
I know a guy like this too, spends money like it's water and always has to be the center of attention. Complains about being fat but eats like shit, claims to have anxiety but it's all for sympathy (anyone who speaks to him for more than 5 minutes can see that that's bullshit). He can be fun to hang out with at times but it's mostly just exhausting. I feel sorry for his roommate too, who's always having to chase rent and bills. Seems to be a very common type of person these days...
You should have an IRS "agent" or whatever they are called on the show. Let people submit questions and just discuss how tax works and what happens if you get behind on payments etc. Demystify things a bit.
That would be awesome. Bigger pockets has a few episodes of that and they're awesome.
I think it would especially be good for people to realize that the IRS wants to work with you. Don't sit on filing a return because you don't have the money. You can make a payment plan and even get some penalties abated just by asking. They only get scary when you ignore them.
That's a great idea.
OMG that would be amazing!!!!

I finally know what the 2988 stands for. That’s the number of excuses given by Boogie in this episode alone. ZERO responsibility!
He's a good manipulator.... Yet I still want him to do good. It's like that cousin that is on drugs you really don't want him in your house but you don't want him sleeping under a bridge.

Northwest Arkansas is absolutely nuts right now. I built a house there in 2018 in an area just outside of the city limits, and sold it 4 years later for double my price in a single day, as it was when I built it. Everyone I know on the same street had some of the same outcomes. I know one guy got double cash offer on his in one day, and another around the corner got over double in 3 days. People from the west coast are moving here for Walmart and buying up these houses for double what we paid, and it's still INSANELY under what they would pay for the equivalent in Cali.
For the people who say it would take more money in gas to go home and eat food than it would be to order take-out, have they never heard of a lunch box and an ice pack? I got my lunchbox from goodwill for $4.
Boogie in job interview: "Here are all the ways I'm a terrible person."

Boogie: "I don't like doing that."
Meanwhile...
Caleb: "What are you going to do in the future?"

This is absolutely pathetic. No man says “I’ve done enough for my wife because when I met her, she was awkward and immature and I fixed that for her.”
Boogie is more than double her age and using the most transparent manipulation tactics imaginable. He’s incapable of surviving on his own but taking credit for other people’s improvements.

Boogie: tweets “I legit just bought a Tesla”
Also Boogie: “I can’t believe you thought I bought a Tesla!”
tbf if you take anything Boggie says at face value at this point; theres a portion of blame that lies with the person believing the proven and well known liar.
He literally did though.
He has a history of lying and hypocrisy, then wonders why his reputation has gone down the toilet.
If he in fact didn't buy it and it was just a bit, I'm impressed
Also Boogie: tells a bunch of sht that a Tesla owner would say. This guy is so fking stupid that he can't even realize how stupid he is.
Caleb: "I wanna hear about the future, the exciting things not your bad past"
Boogie: "We're going to get there, ok"
This interaction pretty much defines a lot of Boogie's personality. I see why Boogie is obsessed with the Tesla with the Delorean doors. Because he can't stop bringing up the past.
The crypto isn't even the real issue. The problem is that he was in a position where he couldn't hold it long enough. Like he said, he could have turned $200,000 into $1,500,000 if he was able to hold it and sell it now. The problem is that crypto, if you are going to make money, requires you to not be too impulsive, because you need to hold through all of the volatility. Boogie...isn't good at not being impulsive.
I think a huge problem for Boogie is that he had some fleeting success with CZcams and now he can’t/won’t imagine doing anything else to earn income. He needs to accept that CZcams should be his side gig, a passion project/hobby, not his main source of income.
You're absolutely correct but he also is a terminal excuse maker and will not take any responsibility. You can see it everytime he says "yes, but."
He dug himself into this situation with his childish behavior and he's keeping himself their
Or he could actually treat it like work instead of the hobbyjob that he's treating it like now. He refuses to twitch because he gets in trouble - so the fuck what? Do it anyway and own whatever dumb shit he says or do it and make a concerted effort not to be stupid about what he says/does.
I guarantee he spends less than 40 hours a week actually 'working'. I'd bet he spends less than 20 a week working.
He's also INCREDIBLY entitled and, as such, excuses every financially irresponsible decision he makes a simply "I can't do because blah blah blah" or "I need to buy this because I have an addiction and can't help it."
Then he'll turn around and play victim to the internet and try to convince people that it's not his fault even though it absolutely is.
It's all him he still even now has the power to change his situation he just refuses to do so because that would require sacrifice and change which he's unwilling to put in the effort to do.
Now he’s hoping that he can benefit from the sad story of being a former CZcams “star.”
True, maybe it becomes successful again because it goes from an income source back to his passion project/hobby.
At first, I was just impressed by Boogie's seemingly-wholehearted goodwill. After some decades of rooting for Boogie at every chance I get, and appreciating his seemingly-genuine honesty... I realize he's being dishonest with himself 99% of the time. And after having lived a life of my own, good god man there are only so many excuses you can make for everything.
The bypass surgery, there was a lot of support from the community... like alright man new chapter, new you, let's change for the better.... Excuses after excuses of gaining the weight back. The cycle continues with the "Shamans"... It's sad to see because many people don't have these 2nd or even 5th+ chances to change their lives, yet he still has the gall to continue the pity party.
yea, its sad to see. I feel like myself, as well as most people have grown and built careers, started our lives, etc. But sad to see when someone youve seen on youtube over the past few decades decline so hard.
He even says it at one point something like "I'm not sure I can meet that standard" and was referring to the standard of normal conduct for online streaming or video content. I don't really think he believed that but I do think it is something he has considered to be the case. He is right to be honest. He is just a bit wild and chaotic for his career path now. He has no other choice, hes so far into it that he is ruined for any "normal" job or career. Caleb called him out quite a bit and even questioned if he had changed after boogie state as much. Interesting video. I hope he continues to improve. Self reflection seems to be good for him but I hope hes actually taking actions and not just stating things that sound good for us.
He also went on his podcast immediately after this and shit talked Caleb and the show. Boogie is a terrible human being at his core.

This. There’s always an excuse with him. Always an obstacle. Always something stopping him. Get a fucking grip and take some responsibility.
Catch-22 but self-inflicted.
At some point fat/sick people have to take responsibility for their own actions and lives. He's been fat/sick for entire decades, yet wants to act like a victim, like he has no control over it. If he had gotten onto keto/fasting, he could have fixed his body in a year or two, gotten healthy, then saved all the money wasted on healthcare. But he, like most people, don't want to do that. He's not going to give up his fast food, or any food. He wants to eat junk then expects healthcare to somehow fix him. Well they cannot fix you. They can only treat symptoms of the problems. The cause of the problems is bad diet/lifestyle. YOU have to fix that. That's what keto/fasting does.
He also complains about not being qualified to do anything. Well no shit, that's what happens when you never advance an education. You'll be 45 and hired to do the same junk job as a 20 year old drop out. He had all these years to study anything imaginable and get a certification. Didn't do it.
I believe he can't. There are a lot people in the world who struggle with the disabilities he does. Just because boogie is douchebag doesn't mean you should discount the idea that he really can't do these things.
@@rockoman100I grant you that he can’t do manual labor. But he doesn’t have to. Again, there are many jobs he could do. But he chooses to sit on his fat ass and eat himself to death while continue to whine about his life so people like you sympathize him.

I see Boogie doing this show not as a means to actually get help, because he's been given all the help in the world and every opportunity to improve his situation, but as a way to advertise himself in the hopes of getting more viewers/followers.
