I didn't know a drone could go as fast as a WRC!!!
It tried, but was left behind everytime. Slow sections yeah, but when corners open its bye bye. I dont think drones can hit over, lets say, 130kmh constantly (wrc hitting ~200kmh in straights)? wrc in winter roads is fast if not fastest! As odd it sounds.. ofc I will stand corrected.

@@3M46DN1M decent drones can hit 200kmh easily. This drone is "left behind" due to losing FPV video signal, both from distance and interference from too many trees.
Drones just change the game it's amazing how easily they keep up and can get so close to the action

Not too impressed with the FPV flight. More impressed by Rotiva Droneworks, the FPV aviator. Who flies after plow truck. In darkness. It is FPV flight. When it's at it's best!👍

If you guys like drone footage of the WRC in action, you should check the DJI WRC videos out. I still think the WRC should ve never ended that partnership or at least they should ve found someone else for these kinds of videos.

@@pajuification As far As I know, Sweden is faster a bit.
@@pajuification I did some research, in 2022 finland was faster , but all in all, both are lightning fast, both can make a drone pilot sweat easily.
That's got to be a special sort of drone operator to follow him and avoid those branches at the same time.

One thing I've always wondered is if these drivers like actually enjoy this. I mean like when they're driving will they occasionally hit a really good corner and smile to themselves? Or are they dead serious all the time trying to get a good time. When I play racing sims I'm enjoying myself so I wonder if its the same in real life.
Probably tunnel focused throughout till they cross the line then its brief lessons learned notes and THEN savour the sweet moments and moves with their co-driver. Watch post-finishline cockpit moments. I'm sure every driving fan within all shares the same thrill and smile of a perfect sideways slide. That's what brings us together.
The driver's practically yawning behind the wheel lol, just another day at work as it were.
Great stuff. I dropped WRC+ because the camera footage just isn't interesting to me. If all the races looked like this I'd probably subscribe again.
Its nothing new we know for years Drone provide stunning image, the problem is that the FIA president spent too much time in F1 VIP lounge sipping champagne and yet another WRC year without Drone, gracias President your team rocks...

this is a much better trailer for WRC sweden than the overedited zoomer adhd videos that cut every 0.5 seconds like we see in the official WRC page. This is a way better promotion/trailer. They should fire WRC youtube guys.

Mi piacerebbe vedere un confronto a macchine invertite, di sicuro vincono i rellisti...
