- In 2016, a meme was created by Brazilian pop music fans about a fake internet theory that Beyoncé was keeping Sia in her basement, so that Sia could write songs for Bey. This was after Sia spoke about working with Beyoncé in an interview. The stan twitter meme grew in popularity and is still used to this day, in viral memes across the internet. But what does Sia and Beyoncé make of this fan-fiction/theory meme? From Katy Perry's 4 day livestream, to reaction video comments, the meme has consistently mentioned throughout pop culture and in this video, we go way back to discover the origins of this infamous stan twitter legend.

I was recently re watching Beyoncé’s self titled album doc and there was this scene where she was like “I got my favourite artists, producers and writers put them all into one place to help write this album” and it cut to a clip of Sia on a coach with her laptop lying down singing. I immediately thought of the meme and just burst out laughing.

It's not odd. Beyonce records over 80 songs for each of her albums. Sia wrote 25 and one made the final cut, she actually got lucky.
Also her entire 4 album leaked.
