The biggest reason why trading is bad for most traders and why they fail is because they don’t understand the simple concept of market structure.
Understanding market structure is one thing,being able to capitalize and take advantage of the market structure to generate solid gains is the major aspect of successful trading
There are different types of market structures simply because traders and investors have different needs
It is always best to trade when the prices pull back and puts in a new break off structure

I've been mucking around with trading since the last crypto bullrun. I've missed out on some huge opportunities by fluke and made some smaller gains actually putting in the work. Everything you say is spot on. In the last few months, I've been really putting in the effort to trade a couple of strategies and been backtesting hard and my success are piling up. Along with the training and practice that it takes to make, let’s say $2k in 15-20mins, it takes capital! You can’t make $2k off of a $200 or $300 trade. The market would have to absolutely tank or sky rocket for that to happen AND you would have to be in the RIGHT position at the RIGHT time. To make $2k you’d have to buy the right amount of contract (options) for you to even profit that much. 1 or 2 contracts ain’t gonna do it.

Best way to be a profitable trader is to become an expert ( i.e. >60% accurate) at predicting the 5-6 period future outcome of one market. There are many people who are successful traders who only trade one product, the NASDAQ, Natural Gas, the US30, or TESLA, etc.

This video and this channel is just what I needed. It's like you're reading my mind. As of this video, I had a humbling trading week after thinking that "I got this" the previous week. My account is not destroyed yet and still in the green, but the last two days prior to this video was completely out of control. I really have to humble myself no matter what I do, especially as a day trader. I have my set patterns and indicators, but I have to wait for the right trade each time if applicable.
