- It was a battle this year. The level was crazy high and everyones was hungry for the win. I knew I had to give it my all and couldn't live with myself if I didn't. The result of that was a couple horrible crashes but also some amazing landings. But I couldn't do this without my team around me. So thanks coach Robin, Ryan, Kristel, Bas, Lasse, Reedin team, mom and dad and all my sponsors. Congrats to Marc for taking the win. You where on fire!

This is a hyped up overrated spectacle, and Kevin acts as if he is the coolest cat on earth. So you fly downwind and twist through the air a few times. I mean come on! Even if it takes a while to get to that point, in terms of practicing your craft, watching is pretty uneventful.

Great sport, unreal level and all admiration and respect for all you guys. You did great. Achieving a second place, as entrepreneur, as a husband and father, as a professional - everything nearly in the same amount of time - is nearly like winning. Marc was a slice more constant and deserved his win. You could see this very thin slice of difference between him and the rest of the field . Again: You all showed incredible sport, incredible level and all of you own a strong foundation of hard work during years and years of top level in sense of competing, of training, exercising and remarkable sportsmanship and fairness.
