- Aaron Babcock, who owns a small car dealership in Eatonville, WA, was charged with reckless driving for chasing a suspect who stole a truck off the lot in broad daylight.

stealing a car/truck is the same as stealing a horse and should be punished the same.
A red state would thank him. A blue state says the criminal is misunderstood.

Soooo....did the thief get reckless driving/ endangerment too in addition to the vehicle theft charges? This state is batshit insane to charge this man for doing what the police would not do.
My first question is, who made the decision to prosecute this guy?
This gentleman needs to request a trial by jury and his lawyer needs to throughly explain to those jury members what “jury nullification” means.
Seems to me that this is what your AG (Bob Ferguson) stands for. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that somehow Bob is involved in causing this ridiculous prosecution -- just imagine if he becomes your next Governor!

According to an article I read in the Seattle Times Bob Ferguson was suing police departments around the state that were doing the job. Thanks Bob, really need another person pushing the common person down. We need laws like Texas has about defending your stuff and yourself.
