Also, I Like the Damn "Fish Scale"! for one, a guy fairly new to Trap 3yrs., when you see it next to the Guns that EVERYONE has on the rack the gun Stands Out so much next to all the Browning trap,Beretta silver pigeons and every thing else there, It Stands Out and you can plainly see it is something Special ! I Love it !

    Another excellent video Matt, so helpful to anyone looking to buy their first gun or upgrade.
    Never knew they made a limited edition, looks very smart.
    Really useful tip about tightening stock bolts, a friend Wrecked his 687 silver pigeon v because of this, a very expensive lesson learned the hard way.
    Even if your not a fan of a particular maker the reviews are a pleasure to watch. 👍

    I used to have a very nice '686 Game' in the mid 1980's and was about to get a 682 sporter when I got married and started a family.
    I am really excited to be starting shooting again and after watching this video, and in the interest of continuity I think a nice 682 Gold E will be a great gun to restart up with initially before maybe adding a more up to date 687 SP, 694, DT10 and/or DT11 over time.
    Ill definately be contacting Premier Guns to hopefully get a great gun and the benefit of their expertise.
    Great video Matt

    The best of the 68X actions. In Australia these sell better used, for more money than a new 692. Well regarded here. They don’t sit on gun shelves, regardless of condition.

    That’s a beautiful bit of timber on the special edition. I agree totally with you, hate blobby chequring, double points much nicer. Not a fan of either engraving pattern though.

    • @PremierGunsDoveridge
      @PremierGunsDoveridge  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for your comment. These guns are quite rare in the UK as people that have them tend to keep hold of them. More than happy to do a review of an ASE Gold but we see very few of them. Kind regards, Matt

      @PremierGunsDoveridge  Před rokem +1

    Congratulations for your channel!!Is it true that beretta 682gold e gives really tight patterns with optima chokes ?If that is true which chokes compination you suggest for general hunting and medium-long range shooting?Thank you!!

      @PremierGunsDoveridge  Před rokem

      Thank you for your comment. My experience of Beretta Optima chokes ( factory) is that they are quite tight patterns yes. My advice would be to use light modified and modified as tbis should cover most situations. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Matt

    I've got a chance to buy a 682 Gold E Sporter w/32 inch barrels, made in. 2000, and rarely if ever fired. How much should I offer for that? Deceased owner paid $3400 in 2000.

      Thank you for your comment. For clays I would certainly give preference to a 682 Gold E over any Silver Pigeon model. Definitely go for the 694 though if your budget allows. Kind regards, Matt
