It’s often very surprising how short so many of these women are, as they don’t appear so in videos.

@@DataWatch. I worked music festival security for years and it would surprise me very often how much shorter artists were than what I pictured. As soon as they would get on stage they wouldn't seem short anymore. It's really fascinating how production works, and how our minds work.

@@DataWatch. It can work in the other direction, but hardly as often. My friend was on Project Runway and I went with her for the finale episode in NYC. Heidi Klum was one of the judges on the show that season. In life, she was so tall. She had heels on. I'm 5'8" so I'm not even sure she is that much taller than I am. But in life, with heels, I felt like I had never seen a taller or more beautiful woman (I can't explain it). She was also one of the nicest famous people I've ever met, so I kind of felt like I was just staring at her weird because she was so nice and looked like a real life Barbie doll. 😶🤭😳

Have I seen anything they might do? and 2) I keep thinking, "She isn't that tiny, is she? Did I misread the name? Several people I am in disbelief over. I just assumed the most famous Karcrapion was 5'8"ish.

@@DataWatch. you should check your maths. 1 inch = 2,54 cm. 6 inch = 15,24 cm. 6 foot = 183cm. 183cm + 15,24cm = 198,24 cm. So stating that 6'6" was 196,5 cm is just wrong.

I’m not sure if Ryan and Blake are together now, but Scarlett was before Blake. Blake is around 5’9 so doesn’t qualify as short enough for this one. Many of these couples are not together like I explained

its natural for women to be a few to several inches shorter than their male partner/husband my parents were 5 Ft 11 in and 5 ft 2.5 in respectively when they were younger adults but due to age related height loss and chronic back injuries dad is down to 5 ft 8.25 in at 63 and mum is down to 5 Ft tall at age 60 both my younger brother and I took our height from dad unfortunately I was diagnosed with severe arthritis before age 30 so I've lost a bit of my height originally 5 Ft 7 in and now around 5 Ft 6.5 in

I used to be 5'8 1/2. Due to scoliosis and spine conditions, I'm only 5'4" . I know that some of the actors have shrunk too. Especially Clint Eastwood, when I met him he was 6'3" at least, now I noticed how short he's become. 😳 Another great list would be , how tall they are now. Probably it would be hard to find out, how tall they are now. It just seems like the older you get; the shorter you get. Height doesn't really matter.

Reminds me of my parents. Dad is 1,95 and mom is 1,72. Whenever I show people a picture they´re like oh your mom is so short, and I tell them "no, Dad is just really tall". I'm 1,63 so I definitely didn't inherite their height (despite being the spitting image of Dad).
Looking at that if they were celebs they would be half an inch shy of making the criteria for this video. I’m surprised at your height when you consider your mums especially. I reckon an average female with parents that size would be around 6’ honestly

Anything goes with height these days but I think that's good and gives many more a chance for a partner. I do believe shorties add on an inch or two though. I'm a shortie older lady who has lost about 1.5 inches as well. I had all tall boyfriends and married a tallish guy to get decent height kids.
Did you achieve that! Usually taller kids come from taller mums. Mums have more bearing than dads when when it comes to height in my opinion
@@DataWatch.... well I got one 6ft son and I was only 5ft 1 but sadly I've lost a bit now and I'm close to the ground haha. My other son is shorter about 5ft 7 and he's just got engaged to a cute girl of 5ft 1 so they suit being together. His other girlfriend before her was about 5ft 2. He would never have gone for anyone taller.
Just his preference. Eldest sons wife is about 5ft 4 or 5.

Yeah kids have sudden growth spurts down the track often. It's going to be interesting to see how tall any child of my 5ft 7 son will be. I had tall uncle's but my sibling family and I all small because my parents were shrimps. Doesn't matter so much being an oldie now but I got picked on so much for being small.
6 girls and one boy (my siblings) and only my brother was a reasonable height... Just as well!). Looks like my eldest son's (toddler and baby) are going to be quite tall. I think shortie girls marry tall guys for prestige but also so their kids have a fighting chance to be taller. I think it's lovely now though that heights don't matter so much concerning partners anyway .

A number of the very tall partners may have Marfan's syndrome, which can drop you dead with no warning, when quite young.
If really tall, big hands and feet and poor eyesight, best to check.

I would guess because they were the hunters and defenders of women (who had to care for infants). They needed to have muscle and most likely a larger frame to handle that. Though interestingly birds seem to have the opposite. Since females often defend the nest, the females are usually larger. Just my thoughts.

In general, no, but for specific positions, it very much matters. I'm 6'5", and my ex is 5' even, and there were some things we just couldn't do.
