It's a sad moment, but my favorite moment of the movie is when Han is dying, he look at his son's eye without hate and touches his face.
In typical Solo fashion he doesn't have to say "I love you" to his son, he just loves him.
Oh yes!!! I love it as well, i still remember his eyes before he gone😢
I still remember seeing the movie on opening night with other Star Wars fans. At the moment he ignited the lightsaber, a person in the theater cried out, "Dammit!" 😂

I've been a Star Wars fan since 77 and I've seen every Star Wars movie in the theater and 7/8 and 9 I enjoyed , they could have been better or different but I enjoyed them

the trooper who drops the weapon in the cell is Daniel Craig :-)
The Storm Trooper who Rey used the force to release her and drop his weapon was played by Daniel Craig. The most recent James Bond. He wanted to be in the movie so they wrote him an uncredited cameo. I'd heard he did it for free.

The fact that Finn doesn't have an actual name is because First Order stormtroopers are indoctrinated as kids while imperial stormtroopers was trained in academies. Phasma is much superior to stormtroopers because she enlist herself as a teenager
was great to hear Daniel Craig (007) was the trooper in the cell with Rey who released her :D

The first 10 minutes started out so well, but the more I see the more I think the criticisms are justified. However, there are some epic moments and beautiful shots regardless.
Same here , I saw it back in the 70's. And all these new creatures etc kind of ruins my first reaction in the experience .

Okay.... I'm an "Original" Star Wars fan.... I was 10 when the original movie came out in 1977. With that said, unlike many of my peers, I really enjoyed the Prequel Trilogy. The Sequel Trilogy..... really has its issues, but I don't "hate them". My MAIN problem with the trilogy, is that there was no "story arc" outlined from the start. While Lucas himself DID make changes to the OT, he at least had an "outline" of the overall story. This trilogy suffers from not having that, as well as different writers for each part of it. Episode VII, while it rehashed a lot from the OT, was at least a decent start.
I'm a fan of the original series to. I was born just 6 months before the first one came out. I saw it in the theater 🎭 right before they released Empire.
Rey is played by English actress Daisy Ridley.

25:00 it’s amazing how they made the first order similar to Hitler and the Nazi party. A lot of people don’t like the sequel trilogy but I enjoyed them. I will admit I didn’t enjoy episode 8 as much as 7&9. Rian Johnson went too far off the story in it. I think they should’ve just had JJ do all three then I think people would’ve enjoyed them all better and episode 9 wouldn’t seem like they tried to hard to close the saga. I hope you complete the trilogy and enjoy them cause even if the story isn’t to peoples liking it’s still an entertaining trilogy. Apparently Poe Dameron wasn’t supposed to survive the TIE fighter crash but Oscar Isaac talked with JJ and they liked what his character could bring to the movie so they brought him back at the base. One thing to know about the sequel trilogy is Episode 7 was Han Solo centered, Episode 8 is supposed to Luke Skywalker’s movie and Episode 9 is supposed to be Princess Leia’s movie. Something a little scary is Carrie Fisher knew that JJ Abrams would direct two Star Wars movies. In her autobiography she thanks him for putting up with her twice and he said prior to Force Awakens they’ve never worked together. Of course she might’ve meant Episode 7 & 8 cause even though he didn’t direct it he was still an executive producer on Episode 8.
On that subject , Hitler actually had soldiers called " Storm Troopers " and the line up of all the Star Wars storm troopers , were exactly like the Nazi soldiers .

I can mostly agree on what people say about Rise of Skywalker but I don't personally think the sequels are nearly as bad as people are trying to make them out to be.

This is highly derivative fan fiction... except that it was written by non-fans. They basically remade episode IV, except with far less interesting characters.
it wasn't a bad start but although 8 and 9 have some interesting things, even some good things in them they also have some terrible and just plain bad parts and ideas.
The Force should go back to sleep, it clearly hasn’t had it’s full 8 hours yet. 😮
People talk crap about the sequels, but as someone who was 5 years old when i first saw 'Episode IV', i love them.
Hi Emma!🙂Many people had a problem with Rey being so powerful with the force when she had never even trained for it like Luke. Personally, I like the younger cast here fine.
