- There’s lots of rejections when it comes to college admissions, but there’s also lots of acceptances!! In this video, I talk to you guys about the differences between my Yale application and my Harvard application, and why I might’ve gotten rejected from Yale, but accepted to Harvard!

My close relative got rejected by Harvard, Princeton, Amherst, Swarthmore. Got waitlisted at Cornell, Vanderbilt. Got accepted at Yale, Brown, Williams, and will be attending Yale.
Even though I had used the description myself before, I was surprised that the acceptances themselves were such a "crapshoot." I thought that for the most part, if you got accepted at a college you would generally get into every other school with a higher acceptance rate. Not so true among the top tier schools, it seems. I doubt that "yield management" explains all or much of it, but what do I know? (Sofia waitlisted by Tulane but gets accepted by Harvard and Stanford? Yield management/Tufts syndrome?) Though all the kids at all the top schools could probably do the work at any and every one of the schools, each school has its own desired student body, it is safe to say, and wants slightly (or greatly?) different accomplishments and personalities in their accepted students.

Can you please make a video when you get your first youtube paycheck! It's ok if you don't want to! Also, you can put adds in the middle of your videos. It will help you get more.
Edit: I just saw an add in the middle of your video. Also can you make a custom URL pls because then it will be so much easier to get to your channel!

@@sofiapesantez3344 I think this is how. I've tried for myself before but you need 100 subs which I don't have. You click on your profile picture and go to youtube settings. Then there is a place to go to advanced settings. When in advanced settings there is a button to make a custom URL. Also thanks, take your time in filming!
But Harvard’s more difficult to get in
