Man, the good ol' days when SF was fun and hype. Mike, Eduardo and all those familiar faces in the background. Thx to SF5 basically all of these players have disappeared or are totally irrelevant now it's crazy. The game destroyed everything good about SF.
MaxxCoyote A lot of the old crowd moved on after SF5 came out to subpar reception. Imo it’s gotten better over time, but it’s still pretty different from SF4 and a lot of us don’t enjoy it. I think the number of viewers isnhigher due to higher overall FGC numbers, but it doesn’t have the entire community behind it like SF4 did back in the day.
@@pon3d120 A better explanation is that almost every new SF game polarises its fanbase. Lots of 3rd classic 3rd strike players stopped playing when SF4 came out becasue it was so different, and all the new SF players, that joined in SF4 left when SFV came out. The same will most likely happen with SF6.
@@beganfish The big difference is SF5 was purposely dumbed down to cater to noobs/scrubs and e-sports. Skill, execution, and footsies went away in favor of a gameplay based solely on guessing. Agaon, huge difference. SF5 is straight up trash in every way and that's why all these great players left.

skoda10 sometimes your too far away for the ultra to hit before the invincibility frames end so i guess thats why. if your that far away the ultra will be blocked most of the times tho right? weird tech
+NomineName It's an option select. You can do the armor cancel and if you absorbed something it becomes ultra, but if it doesn't it just becomes an EX punch which is usually safe.

Fabiano Corrà considering mike ross's main is honda, he played really well here. He lost but, won 5 rounds against PR's 6 so it's not like he lost 2-0, 2-0. You can see good players even in losses and mike is one of them. And stop dickriding Daygo, he's a beast for sure but, not as much as his fanboys says. Tell me again where he placed at last EVO?

Mike's a great guy who has a deep understanding of fighting games, just like Max, but just like Max, he's not exactly a tournament player, and I don't mean that in a condescending way, I'd get bodied by both of these guys.

You need a meter to do it, but basically you need to cancel the first frame of the ex rush punch into ultra. Abel can do this too.
