So wish Prince had kept The Revolution intact for at least a few more years. Those 5 musicians were just right for him. There was a chemistry w them that brought out the best in Prince.
The Revolution is a sensational band and such a cool bunch of people. When they were huge it would have been hard to imagine such nice, grounded people were behind the veneer of the incredible Prince and the Revolution experience (that was on MTV videos for instance). His legacy lives on through his music and this great band.
the world need you guys because there is no one else to fill in the void you guys help make prince and you are all masters at your trade thanks for being there for us.
Thank you Mark, Bobby Z and Dr Fink for sharing these wonderfulstories of Prince. God bless you all and continue to keep hislegacy going as long as you can. Love & Peac..rip Prince
I saw them in NYC at Webster Hall. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!.My Beloved would be PROUD of his band. It's ALL LOVE ppl. Listen to what they are telling us about this AWESOME, man. Remember....... THE ONLY LOVE THERE IS, IS THE LOVE WE MAKE.
Yes in deed u guys were fantastic!!! I was there at 1st Avenue Sept 3rd, 2016. I shed many tears that night. Cuz u brought all back in our hearts 💜💜💜💜💜 I just hope u guys continue 2 tour more and come back 2 Minnesota. It would be so great if u guys put all the old groups back together. The Time, The Family/FDeluxe, Jill Jones, Jesse Johnson, MPLS 94, Madhouse, Mazarati etc....that would Rock getting 2 hear all of u guys do a show. ✌💜🙂
Was there for the First Ave. Shows in 2016.. and then again at the Celebration at PP last April. They are great live and really pay tribute to Prince like only they can. Love the storys and love hearing them talk.. Thank you Revolution for keeping the music alive and his memory alive as well.. RIP 0(+>
Had a showing of PURPLE RAIN here in amarillo, texas.last night at west gate mall (premier cinema 6) its was AWESOME!! the whole theatre went crazy..people were dancing and,cheering..throwing confetti..an expirence that me and,my step daughter will never forget!!
Tysm, Jason...This is keeping our hearts beating. We love and need these guys in our lives Forever!! We are here for you too...Mark, Mat and Bobby!! For all time!! And yes, what a roller coaster!! One we will ride together for good!! This video is a cherished gift I will keep with me! I feel they are my family!! Love the that people they are!!
What an amazing interview. The last part where they say Prince was finally getting to be nostalgic, woa. Prince always wanted to do the next thing, the new thing, not live in the past, but here The Rev confirms that Prince indeed was starting to reminisce, wow. It's a mixed emotion this 'Revolution Revelation' I'll call it, because it makes me wonder, if Prince felt a premonition, OR, knew something, or simply came full circle and wanted '2 go back home'. As for the emotions one goes through as a super fan of 30+ years, 3:55 is so true. You go through phases, rollercoaster, from elation to devastation to that slow arrival where you're calm at the end, or slow entrance to the excitement. It's very strange, sometimes its total acceptance and then it hits me, what happened? Thank you for sharing this Mr. Rice and hopefully we'll here more 'Revolution Revelations' in the future. .::Modernaire
Think about it... they said, a few years before he did, Prince became more reminiscent. Around that same time, Prince sent Tyka a demo of Way Back Home, with a photo that lead her to believe Prince was dying. This is no coincidence.
Amazing musicians and cool dudes, i like how mark has his own youtube account and will straight up always reply to questions and shit if you ask him. Dude is solid.
Nice seeing just the guys here. I love the band but Wendy can be quite verbose. It's really nice to see especially Fink and Bobby Z. open up. Whenever it's a full band interview, Bobby Z. always looks there's a lot going on, his eyes can be very expressive. I noticed this in the Yahoo interview. Good to hear a thoughtful interview with each of them.
I didn't say I hate Wendy but just look at all the interviews with the Revolution, she interrupts people, she's constantly speaking, not letting anybody else talk, it's rude it's tedious.
Sorry, I have to agree with you as much as I love Wendy and the rest of the group. That's probably one of the reasons why he fired her and Lisa first. Even the "favorites" can get the pink slip.
Prince was a very shy person, Wendy did speak up for him but only because Prince did not like to do interviews. She does not hog up the attetion you have no idea what you are talking about.
RastaSaiyaman yes you're right. I learned so much more about these guys and Prince in this single interview it was great to hear them get the chance to have their say. The unity between them is palpable. Even Lisa hardly ever gets a chance to speak. Not hating on Wendy but we get more direct talk from the guys and they let each other talk very natural.

That trio has me star struck. The Revolution is the best Prince band. Hands down.

It's so cool to finally hear Fink open up and talk.

Great interview.
The revolution the real prince sound
Awesome, R.I.P. PRINCE.
Why doesn't the Revolution just put a record out? They have a fan base and loyal at that!

Prince was really supportive and kind to Bobby when he had his heart attack, inviting him to perform, etc.
Maybe the Revolution will get to perform the new material from the vault
Matt looks like Agent Fink from the hospital Matrix
Nice......
im glad wendy is not in this interview so we can hear these guys talk for a change :)
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Matt Fink looks a little bit like Agent Smith from the Matrix.
😎
I take my hat o off to Huey Lewis he never left the news.He. Retired and move to Montana.Maybe that what Stars should do.move to Montana.
I guess he didn't believe in catching the iron while it's hot.
Dennis your so right.lol.love Wendy but she is a bit too much at times
what a freak show
I'm glad Wendy isn't in this interview as she tends to hog all the attention and lets nobody speak.

That is now why they were let go, Prince was spreading his wings Wendy and Lisa were never far behind.

I thought Mark and Fink were dead. They are still alive!!
When you think someone has passed just look up their name and see!
THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY!.
I tried to look them up!! I think I got Dr. Fink, but could not find Brown Mark!!
