Really wish the Throw a Tantrum task was extended to allow time to be done at anytime during individual task filming. I feel like that would lead to more sincere results.

It would be good for the team task where they can’t talk to each other and they’re trying to guess what the others’ tasks are. One of them would just be raging and annoyed at everything 😂

As the series went on it looked more and more like Luke and Tom were just best friends hanging out. Luke is less focused on doing the task and more focused on bonding, and Tom constantly breaks character when he's with him.

Tom Gleeson has really nailed the Taskmaster character. I think it would be amazing if they came up with a way to do a one-off with him and Greg Davies somehow functioning as dual Taskmasters...
Luke is definitely being unfairly scored in subjective tasks. He had so many good ideas and yet he somehow also scors lowest.
I don't think he minds it, and Tom seems to genuinely enjoy his irreverence. One of the other contestants actually needed consoling off-camera, so Luke might just be the easier choice to pick on.

I know Doc Brown said he didn't enjoy his Taskmaster experience but I've never heard of anyone particularly upset off camera.
Such a good season, the cast has such good chemistry in the studio but are funny on their own in the I dividual tasks too. Some great performances in this episode, Nina + Luke with the doctor, the buckets, Julia stalking greater Tom. Looking forward to the next Aussie and Kiwi seasons.

Nina was IMHO fourth place material on the fourth task, esp. when she added in the little F U for little Tom. The security cam picture from Danielle was way too safe and even less risky than Nina's. Meanwhile, the photoshopped thing shouldn't even deserve a single point. It looked like a stock picture of a shop, and editing in what looked like a stock picture of big Tom made no sense. IMHO, he didn't take any part of that picture himself.

@@angelsotiredYeah, I think they are kind of trying to find their footing with that. They have the whole “lesser Tom” thing, but that is about it.
In the first few seasons of the UK one, there was not much disrespect toward Alex, in fact there was a task that Greg awarded lower points because someone was being disrespectful to Alex. So, relationships grow and I am sure they test out a bit what goes over well with audiences.
I can't believe I'm saying this but after 9 episodes TM Australia has kinda grown on me. At first I thought these people were trying to hard but no these people are actually like this. I can't believe it. 🙂

Minnesota is the most artistic and musical of all the states as well, with a high number of Fortune 500/1000 companies and the best healthcare. Basically, we are the best state, but because most people don't realize that, we get to stay that way instead of people ruining it by flooding it with more people >)

If they had not skipped 13, there would be an easy way to do it. Just stack the buckets in order with the highest number on the bottom and stick the task in the top one. 😊 Of course, I would not have thought of it in the moment and did not think of it the last two times I saw this, but. . .
They could still have done that since having 13 in there didn't fail the task, it simply wasn't required for the task :)

I was raised in Minnesota. Tbh. I don't know shit about the artist formally known as Prince other than that is his entire designation. It is "the land of 1000 lakes".
The throw a tantrum task wouldn't work with some of the comedians that have been on the UK version. They'd have looked at Tom and asked "How much damage am I allowed to do?" and proceed to destroy the house.
I legitimately gagged like a cat when Julia licked her hand
15:00 - Plan and execute? Forget that. On saying the time starts now, I would have thrown the task paper in the tub, then started to grab random things in the room to drop in the tub as well - trying to aim for things I think wouldn't be damaged by the water. All the while, ranting about 'what kind of tantrum is planned?' And also about how the best laid plans fall to chaos when facing tricksters. From there, into complaining about getting dirty, pulling muscles, complicated thinking, the time needed to come out and do tasks.
Then I would peter out. Tell him I'm done with the tantrum. Say thank you, this was fun, that I hope the audience likes it, and that I look forward to the next crazy task. Then left the room.
Not the most sensational... as that would require throwing and likely destroying things. I wouldn't want to be dangerous... just the 'calm tantrum' of ranting and a contained mess.

With a bit more thought, I could go with a more common adult tantrum. Just start yelling, "Maybe I don't want to do this task. Maybe you should do this task. This is more of a you thing, not a me thing. You think I want to get upset over some minor thing... like one too many shots... or someone telling me to turn the 'other left'. Maybe you should bring me your manager... yeah, your Taskmaster. Maybe he can get me a better task. Oh, he chose this task? I should give him a piece of my mind. No, I don't calm down. It's my right to yell and scream! Freedom of speech means I can get all upset about whatever I want, and you aren't allowed to get upset about me being upset!"

I know, with absolute certainty, that I would've thrown a way better tantrum than any of the contestants. Just utterly destroyed the room I was in. Its still amazing but not surprising that the US version is the ONLY version to fail.
I remember the US version had one contestant whose bit was just to be bitterly mean (not like Greg's ridiculous mean) for the first two episodes. I love TM, but couldn't bare to watch anymore when they didn't tone it down in episode 2.
Although allegedly there was also a German version that failed so badly it never even got beyond an unaired pilot.
