Tapenade aux Olives Noires - Black Olive Tapenade

- This simple tapenade of black olives is a savory paste of olives, garlic, herbs and olive oil.
It is made in only 5 minutes.
Coming from southern France, it is often enjoyed as a spread for the “French Apéro”!
If you wish, you can also add anchovy fillets or capers.
This delicious tapenade with black olives can served on toast, crackers, crusty bread, as a dip or as a topping on pasta and pizza.
This light olive spread makes a good appetizer.

• 200g of pitted black olives (or with green olives - Green Version)
• 2 small garlic cloves, finely chopped
• some olive oil
• fresh thyme, chopped (or chive, parsley, basil leaves - according to your taste )
• salt & pepper
In the fridge, you can store the Black olive Tapenade for up to 2-3 weeks.
