What brand of dehydrator do you recommend? I have a very small one but want to start doing more and it looks like I will need a bigger one.
Good evening! So this will take a bit of explaining. lol. I have two. They are 9 trays each. One is a Colzer which has stainless steel trays. The couple problems I have with this one is that the gray size I can’t find any silicone raised edge trays in the size of these colzer trays. Which is very irritating. It does a good job but I can’t put anything in this one. I have to either use parchment paper but that doesn’t help me with liquids. Or use the trays directly but I have a problem with the softer items like strawberries or bananas kind of binding with the stainless steel trays and you will not be able to get them off. Sooo I wouldn’t buy this brand again. Although it has good ratings. But real issues. The other 9 tray that I have is a Ivation. It is inexpensive with plastic trays. And actually I love this one!! It has the correct silicone gray inserts and does a great job and I can put apples directly on the trays and they don’t get glued to it. There are other brands that I have seen on different sites, but not sure about them. The cheaper one wins with me. Hope this helps.
