2021 UPDATE: Just use Xcode instead of plist edit pro lol. I've used Xcode for years and just totally forgot that I suggested using something else in this video. plist edit pro isn't malware or anything but it's from a random developer, it's much less powerful and it's trial software (kinda dumb considering what this video is about). Xcode by contrast is a free developer tool MADE BY APPLE. Sorry for the dumb suggestion; I made this video when I was like 16...
You cannot do this on any software that has an online account. These programs store your trial start date online specifically to prevent people from doing what I demonstrated in this video. Please read the description guys ;P Also if theres no date listed then this won't work.

I used a software called runasdate. When I use it on Creative Cloud products like photoshop it says time inn correct error. How do I remove that pop Up? What file do I need to edit

I am already paying for slate monthly and fine with it but want to extend my trial of STL Tones as I spilled cranberry juice on my old machine and restored from time machine and lost all my time...So I dont want to mess with slate but can I reset my demo of stl thats ending. Id buy it id I had more time to know for sure if its for me but they said we cant because its on ilok at there support. Im like well that sucks because I have no time left. Plus they wouldnt even help me with another plug that has time left but doesnt work so I just want to extend this so I have time to check it out...Is it ok or will it mess up my slate license? If it will mess up what Im already paying monthly for then forget it..But I want to extend a demo..

So there is another way which works in some apps, which is changing the date of expire for the trial, but in some apps every time you re start the app it re writtes itself, going back to original, do you guys know how to avoid that?
Hey I did all the process exactly like you, and in the StarTrial always shows the current date, but the application has a counter of the number of days (45) and every day it's decreasing, so I don't know if the PlistEdit is working. Thanks

Thanks for the video. Do you know any methods for 'timed' trials? I have software that is pretty much end of life (2014) and can find no way to buy it. I have the trial version though but it is a time based trial (30 mind I believe). Not a deadline date. Just wondering if you knew any new methods that can possibly get me around this. Thanks!

I got an error message when trying to download the Plist Edit Pro. It says There is no application set to open... blah blah blah
what helped for me is to just create a new login info in the app site with a dif email and delete those files in the library folder with a proper unistalling of all components (using highend app tho) so skipped the third party step.
so this does not work for Adobe cc? Any of the programs in the suit?

I can't find the .plist files for any of my Adobe Creative Cloud trial downloads, any suggestions?
Had the same issue. What I tried was, used this software called appcleaner which is used to uninstall apps. When you drag an app you want to uninstall in the software, it finds the plist files associated with the app as well in order to fully uninstall the app. Dont click on uninstall, but find the location of the plist file from there and try maybe
go to applications, find the folder of the adobe software you are using, find the AMT file (location may vary), go to application.xml, open with textedit or any other scripting programme, find TrialSerialNumber and change one of their digits. [note that this method will only refresh the trial period to seven days, it will not last forever]

I heard of this, but only one question. Please tell me, where in the heck is the AMT file in say, Photoshop CC 2017? I cant find the aMT file, thus I cant find the application.xml :((

Actually adobe products are some of the easiest products to crack.
Not sure about on mac, but on windows just go %program directory%/AMT/application > edit trial key in that file. done

I want an app to improve the audio on my MacBook. I bought Boom, but I can't use it now because they don't allow me to use it anymore. @$$ooooo.
I just posted a question on the Digital Power Station forum to use their app. They don't sell it anymore, but maybe I can still get it somehow [or use the trial version unlimited without any pop up]. I asked them if they store the trial dates of clients online.
I searched to find the trial date for DPS on my MacBook with Mac OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), without any success. It doesn't show any date for Boom, btw.

Plistpro is a great tool, I wish I knew about this before! - the program I did this with did not have any reference to a trial date or anything, it was a value set at 13, if I set this value to 10, it allowed me to use the program again, I'm assuming this is a value that is adjusted as each day passes.

There’s a super easy way that I use with no software. Just search AMT and you should find the AMT file for premiere right click edit with your text app and locate trial period number. Change the last few number and your trial will reset :)
