- After nearly 2 years and a meager 1,300 miles, it is time to sell my WR250X. In this video, I talk in depth about why, but the amount of use over two years should be a pretty strong indicator. $150 for a bike tag is insane, that is more than i pay for 4 bikes combined (2022, 2019, 2015, and 2009 models). Good luck with the sale, they are really cool bikes. Cheers

@@hiimchad You know I feel the same way, I’ve owned motorcycle’s all my life, & for Years I’ve been hearing just how AMAZING the wr250x is, everyone praised it. Welp I just drove 18 hours from Ohio To South Dakota to buy a 2010 White/black wr250x from the original owner. Honestly I don’t really like it. Many things on the bike just feel “off” to me. I much prefer my old XT250 fit & feel over the wr250x. I’ll be selling mine this month as well.
Oh no! I kinda felt like you were my sorta doppelgänger. I have a RSV4 and a WR250R. I felt those pretty much cover most riding situations.

Just got one of these recently as my first bike. Interesting take, I live in London so a light, I think nippy bike like this is really fun. Dont get me wrong, it is slow and the power delivery is kinda annoying at times (either cruising or all out) but it does have its own charm I think in how barebones it is. I did a fair bit of riding on an MT-07 which isnt crazy but is a lot more powerful than this and honestly for where I live the wr is more engaging and enjoyable. on those long country roads i can imagine it getting boring, cus that is exactly where this bike is weak
Congratulations! It is a great bike, despite not being the best for the kind of riding I do now. I agree with everything you said. It is very engaging, charming, and a great time to ride at lower speeds. Hope you enjoy yours! 🙂✌️
