Very good video, I have the little key fob which I kept from my 2008 superduty and still using know on my 2016 and still works great with the same battery on it. Thanks ARod
Great video, thanks for sharing info! I currently use that little key fob like you have. Hard to justify $200 for the Launch for the average vehicle owner, unless you run a shop
I have the little key fob. Been using since 2011 lol even works on my new 21 Superduty
You're welcome for providing the inspiration for this video! haha
PS - on the alumiduty you only have to cycle the hazards 3 times to access training mode.
I just rotated my tires on my 22 last week and after driving for a minute or so the truck relearned the new positions on it's own. It was nice not having to program the new locations!
A very handy tool. Thanks for sharing
I'm using Autel TS508. It also shows the battery status of the sensors. I've already replaced one that the battery totally failed in, and the others are showing low battery when it's cold outside. Juist hoping they make it through the summer.
My 21 F350 and my previous 19 F150 relearned tire positions automatically. Even a second set of wheels with sensors on my F150 and the spare with the F350. Just put them on or rotate them and drive and within a couple minutes it relearned then.
Much easier than the wacky 2011 F-250 owners manual method of deflating each tire until the horn honks.
Would that psi reading be the pressure lost for tripping low pressure warning light on dash?
Nice. I need one of those bad boys. Good way to make sure the tire shop or dealership actually changed your sensor lol
No kiddin
I hear you mention that Tahoe, but never see it! 😆😆😁
I like the idea but I don't want to buy another code reader. I rarely use the one I have so I can't really justify the cost. I'm curious if there is a setting on the truck's display that will show the tire pressure (2015 F250 Lariat). I know it will give me a low pressure warning but if like to be able to check the actual air pressure. My 2015 Explorer has the ability. Thanks for your informational videos.
One of my tire sensors is throwing light on dash. I do I know what one it is?
Great tutorial! I have a 2015 Ford F-150 XLT and I replaced 1 sensor that has gone bad with one TPMS sensor from Amazon. I attempted to relearn it with a TPMS senser tool but it will not connect....the three older tpms will connect or sync except for the new tpms sensor from Amazon. What do you think i need to do?
...not buy one off Amazon. You need to go to the dealer & get the one per your vin
can anyone tell me if snap-on tpms5. is better than launch?
Have you had any problem with kevlar sidewall tires? We had to take to dealer to reset.
No
Why isn't this working on my 450 😅, jk great video as always!
They aren't working on my 450 either!!!😂
@@robspear6004 my tire pressure from the dealer was 110 fronts 110 outside rears and 80 inside rears lol...
does every car have a train mode? trying to figure this thing out
Yes
My 2023 doesn’t recognize my aftermarket wheels sensors they worked fine on my 22 knowbody can seem to get it to sync any ideas did they change something in 23
Yes 23 is different
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod so what’s the fix change all sensors to factory 23 ones ?
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod so what’s the fix?
👍
What I’ve found for my 2017 is the TPMS sensors will relearn location after a very brief drive distance. The tire shop insists that you have to reprogram/calibrate them but I haven’t had any issues without.
Our dealer it's the opposite! We tell customers they will relearn after driving and they do the turn around, which is maybe a 1/4 mile and come back saying they didn't relearn... smh. Hahaha
@@xforce687 every place is different. My experience is purely my own but I haven’t had any issues with a TPMS relearn yet. Granted, some vehicles won’t relearn unless told to do so.
@@vais3 Bet. Gm are that way, idk why they don't get with the times! Mopar don't even have a relearn procedure! You have to drive over 55mph for x miles for it to learn the new tpms.
@@xforce687 all I do is drive down the road for about 5 minutes at most and all 4 read correctly. Even when I had a Chevy Equinox for a fleet vehicle it was the same process.
@@vais3 That's weird, are you talking about inflating the tires, or after they've been moved around?
Can the launch program by obd to enter the serials?
Thats a good ? I am now sure
Are you able to program sensors with this tool not just do a relearn?
Bought my truck with less than 10k miles on it and it had none of the sensors 😑 I wish I could get the damn dash notification to stop popping up
Pretty cool. Weird that it shows 10 psi 🤷🏼♂️ what button did you push like 6 times on the dash? 👍🏼
I'm with you Vince👍...inquiring minds want to know🤨...what damn button did he push?🤔
@@zekester1 🤣🤣🤣

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod gotcha 🤣🤣🤣
He has the same tires as me!! Those Michelin cross climates
Yooooo
Whaddap, ordered a Mach e. PTT EV!!
Whaaaaaaa
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod we’ll see when it arrives…might be 8 months
Either you have 4 bad sensors or you have 10psi in each tire check with another tool for accuracy .
I just want to delete them.
