The robot trying to get the bag was hilarious. Amazing that finally the people behind the counters don't have to do these hotdogs and hold the queue up.
I am usually that guy holding the queue up. I gotta get my hotdog fix 😅

this robot is only for experiental purposes, taking into account its price and maintance, a human worker making hotdogs is cheaper, but a robot is a great advertisement
@@wielkikoroniarz Yeah, it's definitely there for a gimmick and a laugh It's not serious.
I think it's done to save money, seller not handling food (everything else is packaged) means they don't need to have the yearly infectious disease check (just the regular health one every worker has every couple years). Also on sunday some Zabkas operate in "fake self-service" mode where you need to self-checkout and the employee is watching you. With this machine you can also buy a hotdog on sunday.
@@Mic_Glow I'm not sure about that. As this Zabka also had hotdogs for sale behind the counter. I think it's more for a gimmick to get people in the store. I could be wrong though.

Interesting they've decided the robot is supposed to put on a show instead of being fast and efficient. Certainly gives in to a tourist aspect.

Interesting technology. You should see Żabka nano at the underground passage in the main train station too, it’s basically a fully self service store with no cashiers, it uses cameras to see which products you take
I did see the Żabka nano but I didn't go in. I thought it was just a smaller Żabka. I will definitely check that out in the future thanks for the info 👍🏼

The robots are usually in Żabka Nano, the ones that no people work in. You entre it with an app and cameras calculate everything you take.

These are french style hot-dogs that adopted well in Poland cause we like baguettes a lot.

I find city to city public transportation is fantastic. If you want to go to some villages in the middle of nowhere it's good to have someone with a car for sure. I've had some great times in the countryside of Poland it's a wonderful place from city to village that's for sure.

It messed up the bag part because it seems to have position of the bag set by offset (if someone will reset the process then it has to go through each step again). Not sure why they did not use pressure sensor to make sure that it will take a bag, they would not be damaged.

It's a great piece of equipment. I like the humans too but the robot doesn't hold up the queue whilst my hotdog is being made. 👍🏼

Witam. Dobry pomysł. Mógłby spróbować naszych pasztecików. Szczególnie tych najstarszych z ulicy Wojska Polskiego. Szczególnie, że nigdzie poza naszym Szczecinem nigdy ich nie spróbuje. Ja bym go jeszcze zabrał na Cafe22 by zobaczył panoramę miasta. Reszta to w sumie standard jak wszędzie. Bo szaszłykarnia Merkury niczym się na tle innych miast nie wyróżnia. Można by mu też było nasz Krzywy Las pod Gryfinem pokazać. Taka ciekawostka nawet na skalę Europy. Pozdrawiam.

Poland isn't really accustomed to youtubers who record themselves and talk to the camera.
I've noticed that there's a significant societal difference between the UK and Poland in this regard (I'm in the UK time to time). In the UK, people seem less concerned about what others might think of their appearance or behavior, whereas in Poland, people tend to be more conscious of such things. This might explain why there's more hesitation among Polish people to engage with cameras in public.
Additionally, Poland seems to have missed the trend of youtubers who record themselves testing food, which was popular in the US. In the US, there are several popular CZcamsrs who do food testing, which makes someone doing it in public with a camera seem like a significant food critic. Especially because there's like 4/5 popular food critic youtubers in Poland.
I love my time in Poland I've been many times and will be back shortly.
Getting a camera out and recording myself anywhere always attracts stares in the UK or Poland. It's just an odd thing to see a guy talking to himself in public 😂.
Hopefully I can continue to grow my Polish audience as so far everyone has been really supportive and friendly.

I have zero Polish roots I am 100% English born and bred. Which is rare for someone with such an affinity for Poland usually people have a grandparent etc that is of Polish stock.

It's changed a lot in the last 20 years for sure, complete 180°.
Yes, in some aspects Poland is much ahead of the rest of Europe, I remember when I went to Germany a few years ago and I wanted to pay by phone, in Poland it was normal, and the Germans were surprised, they could not understand it, then it hit me that outside of Poland, mobile payments exist only in Asia. Today it has become normal, but again we have parcel machines, in Europe it is still unheard of, usually packages are picked up at the post office or waiting for a courier.
Yes, Poland is definitely ahead in many areas compared to other places. I was surprised by how cash-based some places are such as Germany. Poland feels very similar to my home in the UK except Poland is cleaner and safer. Poland is by far my favourite country to live in.
