I noticed that a 8 foot rod causes the cast of the line to be shorter than I expected 🤔... The reach of the first case (to me) was very limited.
The tie at the teppet is right at 8 ft itself so the float line has no weight to it and it has no casting weight which makes it difficult to sneak up on a waiting fish on the bank 🙂 and needing a large area to cast, making waders a necessity it truly is an art that few can master. Writing in the sky so to speak 🙂 any information about these things would be appreciated in video context🙂 may you fly fast 🙂

This sounds like a good place to use a lot of Euro techniques with a 10’ euro rod.
