    There’s also 2 more wayside signs that weren’t mentioned in this video. If you ever encounter a series or off power wayside sign that’s shapped like a diamond, this tells the Toronto Rocket trains only to set the controller to the series/coast position.

    07:59 "You are now leaving the No Snaking or Portable Bugging zone". Can anybody explain what this means?

    you didn't mention that the conductor has to point to the green triangle after the train pulls into the station but before opening the train doors to confirm the stop position.

      When the video was made, they didn't have to do that.

    the Hawker Sydney subway cars should be upgraded with new motors still solid cars

    • @GeeTransit
      @GeeTransit Před 6 lety +2

      They've all retired, and even if they were upgraded, the time left for the trains to use the new motors would be less economically feasible.

    1995 crash. The trip was not working.
    Or it was a human error.

    • @Vincent_Sullivan
      @Vincent_Sullivan Před 3 lety

      I believe it was both. Human error created the situation and the trip didn't save the day because it was not located in exactly the correct position relative to the passing trains.

    Is this the reason why there is a Signal Problem Delay on an almost daily basis..because of the signal blocking system???? If just 1 train is stoped it occupies a block and creates a backlog of trains behind it that are also blocking other sections of track. Until train 1 train clears none of the trains can go anywhere?

    Lines 3 and 4 use 4-car trains so the 4 signs are seen on those lines, not the 6 signs.

    someone explain me why i see vids with trains proceeding with red over green on interlocking signals ?

      Can you provide an example?

    • @luisfilipem
      @luisfilipem Před 6 lety

      Yes, but I believe i was mislead by the colour wich is very similar ( on video )...
      from what i see, it changes from red over green ( train stops run ) to amber over green ( train proceeds ) .
      It is in this video :
      [HD] Ride on Line 1 Yonge-University-Spadina (Wilson Hostler to Finch) in 4 Minutes (Timelapse)
      at 0:50 &1:10 among others..
      Thanks

    • @T2PFilms
      @T2PFilms  Před 5 lety +1

      Correct it was amber over green which is favorable. The system does not have red over green signals that I am aware of.
