I love Remind magazine. I think you should add what you want to your retro book. You might find other bits in other places that would suit the vibe perfectly. No reason to limit yourself.

Oregano essential oil (mixed with a carrier oil) is good for fresh bites. I’m allergic to bugs too and bites are miserable. This has helped me.

I love your layout and using the stamps in the background. Very cool. It is your gluebook, so you should decide, but if it was mine, I'd keep it to just the Remind images. You are gonna have so much by the time the year is up. But if you do end up having spaces, you could fill with blocks of color to set off the images. That's one idea. You'll figure it out. I know you!😉❤❤❤

I love this. I would definitely use vintage ephemera on the pages, but that's a personal choice. I am a new subscriber and enjoy your videos so much! I have been wanting to subscribe to that magazine because I was a kid in the 70s and a teen in the 80s. I know I'd love it! Thanks for sharing!

Loved this page. Wish I could get this magazine in South Africa. The magazines which do have excellent pictures are just so expensive. Been asking friends and family for their old magazines but people are just not buying them anymore as everything has become so expensive and they all feel magazines are now a luxury. I do go to the local library and buy their old magazines that they are selling but it is never a great choice. However, am finding pictures to put in my colour glue book.
I did find this magazine at my local Dollar Tree but have decided to subscribe as who knows if the magazine will ever appear there again!!!!!

It's your glue book, so it needs to be your decision. If it were my glue book I would probably add anything I have that fits the theme. I love the background stamping you did. Perfect stamp. I was always being eaten by bugs growing up in California, so I sympathize with you. I decided to subscribe to the magazine, but I will have to wait for my husband to finish it before I can rip into it. First Patience, then Relax.Cut.Glue.
I always speed up videos (not yours). I do it because some people I watch speak too slowly for me. And sometimes it is because I want the video done faster. Cute idea for this glue book. I didn't recognise one person ((except Marylin). Have a great day!
Use whatever you like in this glue book that matches the tgemecor era! Think of stuff you have like bits of cloth like gingham or lace or old letters or pages rhat might go with rhe era from the magazine! Yes!

So my issue doesn't have a month or year...not sure why(??) Front cover has a bar code that has $4.99 on it...I think it's an older issue being resold @ DT. Mine is titled: "Where Are They Now?" Peanut enjoyed her snuggle!! 😽 So my Bob had surgery on Friday, so the weekend was spent taking care of him...he's doing much better today!! Those Star map aps are so cool. They work night or day, while you are indoors or out and go 360 degrees. I went to the dollar tree and found the next issue of wonder woman on the front cover and now they have a TV guide of the old shows. It's so fun. if you want the TV guide let me know.
It's totally your journal so your choice but it would be a fun challenge to only use that magazine.

Try a product called After Bite. It’s amazing for bites. My mom used to dab ammonia on our mosquito bites. Takes the itch away! Love the project! How is Bob?
I would like it better if you only used things from the magazine...after all you will have a years worth to go back and fill in spaces with...love this magazine...ordered a years subscription for myself even!...can't wait...I have a retro journal I have had going around in my brain for a while now...now I'm gonna be sooo ready to get it going...lots of good wishes for you and your family...never miss a video...keep up the great work...I think you are an amazing inspiration to all of us who have health issues...you go get 'em GF!

Yes, girl…the mosquitoes and the flies are out with a vengeance! I am going out of my mind with the itching!!! It’s insane!! I have been told of lots of remedies, but straight vinegar sprayed on my legs is helping some. Ugh..,how much longer do we have to endure?!
This will sound crazy, but I promise it works. Use scotch tape on mosquito bites. It stops the itch after about a minute or so. Change it when it feels itchy again. It usually lasts about 3 hours, sometimes longer. Try it. I swear it works!
I got the magazine too. I can't wait to go through it and harvest it. I really liked how the layout came out. Great gluebook session as always!

Hi Nicole, I got my first REMIND magazine, and watched this video this morning . So you inspired me to do something that I have never done before. That is the one magazine challenge. And of course this is the one. I'm excited, but nervous. What happens if I don't have enough images to put in one glue book. What would I do ??? Perhaps you could give me a tip or 2. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for sharing all of your ideas. ❣️❣️🙂🙂
Personally I'd want to mix things up and not restrict myself in a glue book, but I'm a bit of a re el with rules (even ones I create).
I would say use your ephemera if you think it would enhance the vintage images and feel of it. If you are just using it for filler, then no. If it is USEFUL, use it. :)
If you want a Nicole-inspired giggle fest…set the playback speed to 0.25 😂. I like your sped up vids and the normal ones…when you mentioned the option to change speed under settings though…I had to experiment…for fun! 😂💜
