We used to call these, scrapbooks. I haven't done anything like this since I was a kid, but I love watching you crafters make such things.

You are hysterical. I was talking to my 89 year old mom about those hot dog recipes. She said hot dogs were a meal of last resort in our family because she didn't trust what was in them. lol. Then again, my parents bought a home, my dad had a new car every 3 years, my parents had 6 children, and the only income was my dad working at a drug store. Go figure. Times sure have changed. These retro images are amazing. And now I want a freaking bingo dauber.
Wow, 6 kids on one income! That is amazing! And yes, you need a bingo dauber!! You can also find them online referred to as "Dot Markers". They are soooo much fun to play with!
Not trusting hot dogs made me remember a girl at hot lunch said there was a tooth in hers, I think it was cartridge, but still, white junk in a hot dog🤮🤮

It would be cool to write the word Coke in the crossword puzzle on your page or glue letters to spell it there. Love the page. I'm 62 this year and was in the transition from the awful belt to adhesive pads. What a relief. Funny story- was kidding around with my hubby once and he said ( in absolute good fun) Careful or I'll put your pad on the other way!😂 cracked me up that as a man he would go there with a joke. Also he ran to the store before a wedding I was in while we were first dating to get batteries for my camera and tampons! Impressed the hell.out of my girlfriends! Been married 34 fun filled years this year. LaurieO

I had NO IDEA women used pins in/on their pads, either!😑 OUCH! Never heard of Bargain Meats either🤔 I like hot dogs, so I have always bought a quality brand. The ones I buy are now OVER $7 /pkg!!!! There are 8 in the pkg. I don't buy them that often anymore😑 how ridiculous! This coke page is so cool! Just love it. Always look forward to our nightly visits. You just can't beat it. A visit with a friend, laughs, learning new art forms, stories... you just need to serve tea!😘 P.S. I use those Bingo markers also. Wish they had a yellow and pink.

Ladies, I realize that this is a craft show; however since it was mentioned...the best thing that I ever did in these economic times is I bought a 1/2 cow. Fair season is coming up and 4 H'ers are always at the fair. Last year I got a 21 cu ft freezer and 1/2 from a 4H family and have never regretted it. If you cannot afford it, go in with another family and do 1/4 between the two of you. Great value!

Loved the Coca cola layout! I unfortunately have always LOVED Coke. And now I think I'm addicted to diet coke. You did get some great images out of that magazine. I have never been a fan of hot dogs. 🤮 People used to tell me when I was a kid that I was weird because of it. Whatevs🙄 As for the brain fog, must be something in the air because mine is ridiculous right now.

Thanks for the sanitary pad talk ya it was a trip. And bargain meats could be anything from an inferior animal, or like liver, tongue, etc high fat ground Beef etc. is it any wonder I turned vegetarian early and eat very little meat now😂❤️❤️

I could not find the daubers at any of my dollar trees so I went to hobby lobby and found some little dot markers in the kids section. The same day I went to one more dollar tree and of course, I found the daubers. Anywho, I went home and tested them both and the dollar tree daubers are by far the better dauber. The color is bolder and brighter the dots are larger and actually found and the bottles are much much bigger. The ones I got at HL were little bottles (probably for little hands), but the color was just not there for me, very light and when I would press them down it didn't make an actually circle.... just something that resembled a spot. So I think the dollar tree daubers are a great deal!

I have found that fabri tac tends to get thicker as it ages...I add a few drops of alcohol to thin it out to get the consistency I want...works great and for as much as it costs...it is a money saver...rather than throwing it away...good luck...loving this new book you are making...can't wait to get my first issue of the mag...and get mine started...

The cover is great! I had that fabric - yards of it - when I was quilting like a fiend. Just loved using it in just about everything! And I love, love, love the Coca Cola page - super cute! Life may be hard at times now, but it was just plain "weird" back then, let me tell you! LOL And never mind WAY back in the day when rags were used, girl, that was a whole different experience, for sure! I read a lot of historical books that make your eyes pop out of your head over some things!
As crazy as times may be right now, lets all take a collective sigh of relief that we don't have to use any of those feminine hygiene "products/gadgets" from the past! YIKES! You're the second quilter that has told me they had that fabric lol! I just got it as a fat quarter years ago for a dollar. Jackson loves Coca Cola stuff, and when he does drink soda that's what he prefers!
i think you can add acetone (nail polish remover) to the bottle of fabritac to help save it.
