I love your videos! I am new also to glueing, though I have been harvesting for quite some time. I am one of those crazy people that thinks I need to have an abundance of supplies before I start a new hobby. So, my husband put me up to making a gluebook/junk journal for my mother-in-law. When I started I had 6 weeks, her birthday is next week and I’m not even half done. I just don’t have enough practice. They make it look so easy on CZcams. 😂😂.
Magazines at the check out are outrageously priced. I hadn’t bought a magazine for years and was shocked when it was rung up.

Hi, new sub. Welcome to glue booking! As a fellow leftie I am in awe at you using normal scissors in your left hand! How does that not give you such bad cramps?? lol Also yes! Learning how to exist in a right handed world! A suggestion for magazine scavenging, check to see if your county's library does book sales or like, Friends of the Library sales. I'm up in Duval county and we have huge library system. There are FotL book sales every 3 months and there are always magazines. I walk out with a paper bag of Nat Geos just about every time I go.
Try your public library for magazines. Ours sell their old ones.
