    The question where teacher claims at most 3, in the end we succeeded in rejecting the Ho , and that is greater than 3, so answer would teacher claim was true, plz review it.

Could you please review the question, " a teacher claims that the median time to do a particular type of statistics problem is at most 3 minutes...." especially the null and alternative hypotheses. i think the correct one was the typed one and not the one you were trying to write

    Sir I have a question, as we all know that if a dataset not following Normal distribution then we go for non parametric test. But here the dataset following Normal Distribution then why we are using sign test we can use one sample t test?. the example is "How many hours do you study before a major Statistics test? ".

  • @yashaggarwal2322
    @yashaggarwal2322 Před 2 lety +4

    Sir I think in example 2
    Ho = neta is less than or equal to 3
    Whereas H1 = neta is greater than 3
    Because in our question we check teachers claim not students claim and teacher claim is median time is at most 3 so our null hypothesis is neta is less than or equal to 3

    • @DrHarishGarg
      @DrHarishGarg  Před 2 lety +1
