It’s a nice idea, although it doesn’t really work; it certainly doesn’t speak to one’s soul as the original does (especially *the* Morales mix - doesn’t get better). The original is one of the finest vocal house records of all time, not even debatable. Jeff Mills has been well served with full orchestral accompaniment, Aphex Twin interpreted by chamber ensembles (for example Alarm Will Sound) is agreeable, but this falls short. Limerick is a queen either way 🖤
The soul fans always hated house music, and they were always trying to force it back to a sort of Blues & Soul / Echoes disco jazz funk and not onwards to techno which is it's natural place. They did it with Acid House, and never stopped trying to redefine all dance/house in this way. NW London types was as bad at this as the S'port Weekender types. So this comes as no surprise. Trying to orchestrate any of this stuff is bougie nonsense as far as I'm concerned.
