    Just bought a1967 with the wammy bar.
    Same color as yours and in very good condition .
    Was looking at squire telecasters but saw this on reverb .
    So far I like it and have myself a vintage guitar.

    It sounds like a Shortscale Burns rather than a Tele !😅 (I have a 64 and and love it btw)

      So retro. Just be sure to get it set up nicely.

      @@addy600 main problem is the pick up is very high and close to the strings, you cant really adjust the pick up height

      @@oskarterlecki5649 adjust everything else to work with the pickup height. You can shim the neck up and raise the bridge height to suit.

      @@addy600 i am gonna mess with the guitar a bit more but I’m just gonna leave it for now,might put new pots into it and i need to replace the jack

    Got the same guitar. Needed to replace pot and jack. Don't like its unplugged sound, but it has nice cleans and sounds heavy with distortion. I mesured the volume pot, it's around 530k in case someone needs this information.

    How does the neck feel compared to a brand new squire tele?

    • @addy600
      @addy600  Před 3 lety +1

      The neck is slightly slimmer than a standard squire Tele, so the strings are a little closer together.
