"Look up!" is a song I wrote back in the 80's. I wrote the lyrics in a book, which I had lost for a very long time, and I've only just discovered it when I was sorting out my loft. At the time, I was thinking about the big question, "why are we here, and where did we come from?". I wanted to give the whole song a different sound and feel.
Oh oh look up at the stars, what do you see? the past?... the future?
Or just how things should be?

Honda CBR600FW 1998 Rear brake pad change

This is my Honda CBR600FW, bought new in 1998 in the UK. The rear break service took 10 minutes, even using one hand most of the time to hold the camera. No need to remove the exhaust or side panel. Tools used:- 12mm socket, 5mm Allen Key, Flat head screwdriver, C-Clamp. Ensure you use the correct Torque settings, and be aware that the new pads will need breaking in.

Smart ForTwo 451 Rear Coil Spring replacement

I had to replace the rear coil springs on my partners Smart forTwo 451 2007 car, so I thought I would make a video in the hope that it may help someone who wants to have a go at doing this themselves. I didn't have any coil spring compressor tools, so I used the scissor jack from my Nissan. The job was easy enough to do, just take your time and work safely.

Here's a look at a retro amp called the Fender 85. This is a solid state amp from Fender's Red Knob series that ran from 1987-1993. It features a 12" Fender Special Design speaker, and has a beautiful reverb tank. It's a 2 channel amp. I'll be playing straight into the amp with my Fender Stratocaster 1989 with Lace Sensor pickups. Video & audio from an iPhone 6s Plus.

It's a known issue with these cars.
Is it worth changing springs if they look ok or putting better progressive springs in before they break
Totally up to you. I would say check the mileage.

I could hear knocking, and feel the difference in the suspension.

You use the olds insulators like i had...but i reenforce them with windshield silicone
where would you place the jack stand?
If you use the jack at the rear, it will lift both rear and front. Then place stand at the front jacking point.
The suspension elements are changed in pairs.
They certainly are. I did both sides.
I think that's obvious. He doesn't need to show changing the other side as well 🙄

I just tried one out today. Asking price $99. I guess it’s ok for that price but the gain channel is useless and the clean channel was starchy and brittle sounding ….like a cheap solid state amp. Reverb was fair. Just my observation.

Can anyone tell me the difference between this, the deluxe and the studio variant?
this is a blackface princeton circuit in solidstate that is really really loud. The Deluxe is the deluxe circuit and the studio is unknown to me.
I bought mine brand new in 1987 and used it off and on ever since. I recently took it apart completely and cleaned every part/screw. I replaced input jack 1. I don't have the foot pedal and can't read the p/n off yours. Fender wants to send me the Deluxe pedal but it's the wrong one. Great Vid. Stranglers Forever!

The coil springs were broken… they snapped.

I find the crunch slightly unpleasant in mine, but the clean is great (though without the reverb)
Got the same guitar. Needed to replace pot and jack. Don't like its unplugged sound, but it has nice cleans and sounds heavy with distortion. I mesured the volume pot, it's around 530k in case someone needs this information.
Im buying one of these today in like a Cream color ,they’re pretty nice guitars it seems like Edit:i got the guitar,had to set it up a bit,action is pretty high but it sounds beautiful 6.5/10
So retro. Just be sure to get it set up nicely.
@@addy600 main problem is the pick up is very high and close to the strings, you cant really adjust the pick up height
@@oskarterlecki5649 adjust everything else to work with the pickup height. You can shim the neck up and raise the bridge height to suit.

Mine’s in the same shape but with the tremolo arm.
How does the neck feel compared to a brand new squire tele?
The neck is slightly slimmer than a standard squire Tele, so the strings are a little closer together.

Just bought a1967 with the wammy bar. Same color as yours and in very good condition . Was looking at squire telecasters but saw this on reverb . So far I like it and have myself a vintage guitar.
