Both of mine are old Snap-Ons. Still working after 35+ years, though I probably should have them calibrated 😱. I did have to buy the swing-arm in. lb. for the rear end work though.
I haven't heard of styrofoam casting. Interesting. For most cast metal parts the sand is specifically formulated casting sand. Pretty interesting process to watch.
I cannot believe you went through the work to paint the engine and used gray paint (no color). No one will ever know you painted the engine. Everything is black and gray these days. Paint the engine Pontiac blue.
In all honesty, the thought never crossed my mind until i read your post. 🥵 Now I'm having second thoughts on the engine color🤔 Maybe pull the valve covers and do them?
🎉
HI Scott.
Hardest part of this rocker upgrade is finding your snap rings after they shoot off to the other side of the garage. LOL!
Good thing the package came with extras!
It’s your car do what you want with it!
Not according to the internet experts! 🤣🤣
Beautiful! Doing the same ls swap soon on a 55 belair. What brand in oz and in lb torque wrenches do you use? Thanks and keep up the gd build
