Firebird Ep 62 1000 things remaining, I finished 4. Umm, yay?

This week I finish up the rear brakes, the parking brake system, then move to the engine bay and work on the accessories and wiring.

Not a fan of the factory harness wrap. Especially when it gets brittle. Your mod looks a bazillion times better!

That factory plastic accordion stuff is marginally better than the old tape wrap, but only marginally! I like the Alex Tech wrap so far.

A lot of people mistake a torx plus bolt for regular torx...then they use a torx bit and it strips out.Torx plus fasteners must be removed with torx plus bits.Seen it many times.Now I dont know your situation,it was probably just a bad bolt but if it was torx plus then that explains why it stripped out..

It might also have been that I used a T50 first, not realizing it was a T55. Or it could have been a torx plus. Either way, it has a regular bolt now!
