it was pretty busy. I wouldn't have mind having less people but we where there in February so lots of travellers at that time of year.
I was just at Royalton Punta Cana a couple weeks ago. We went over to the water park at splash a few times with our daughter. We really enjoyed our time there.
Happy to hear that Mark. My girl friend said that it was her best all inclusive resort she has been at. I have nothing negative to say about this resort.

Marco, Cornwall Johnny here. Another great video! That place is quite the splash. We haven't been to Punta Cana for quite sometime but seeing your video brought back fond memories of what Dominician has to offer. I guess you can say we have the bug for Dominican again. We had to chuckle around the 14:45 mark when a fellow came out of nowhere and rearranged himself. Oh well, a candid moment! Keep up the great work. You are helping out a lot of folks. Great video! Do you have a list of the daily activities? Like did they have painting on the beach?
They change the activity schedule all the time depending on the occupancy of the resort. As for the kids club I’m not 100% sure sorry. If you have young kids or teenager you will find something for them to do at this resort more then others that for sure. I don’t really recommend families with young children in the Caribbeans but at this resort they won’t have a dull moment. Thanks for watching and if you have other question don’t hesitate 😎🏝️

Great job, thank you very much for the video. Planning to go there soon. How is there with the safety? Specially on the beach, can you leave your stuff and go swimming? Where you often queuing for the food in the buffet restaurants or bars? This is the huge resort.
Ya it’s a pretty big resort but I don’t mind the walking. Some days I was walking back and forth from the pool to the beach. I like being active and honestly your looking at less then 10 walk from the splash pool to the beach. We trying only one restaurant I think, the fusion or something like that. It’s was pretty good but you can go wrong at the buffet. There’s a sports bar not to miss on the Punta Cana side. They have awesome chicken wings !!! It across the casino. Whether I was at the beach or the pool I never felt that my belongings were going to get stolen, pretty safe location in my opinion.

Thanks for the great video. We will stay in Splash in August. Just want to confirm that we can't go to the buffet or any Ala Carte restaurants in RPC, right? How about the chicken wings in the sports bar in RPC? Thanks.
No you will have access to all the aminities of the enter resort including the RPC. there only two a la carte restaurant that you will need to reserve but it also comes at a extra charge. all the other a la carte restaurant and the buffets, bars ect will be including in your package. let me know if you have other questions. enjoy your stay

I just came back from Splash last week, and unfortunately, unless you are a diamond club, most of the restaurants at RPC are at an extra cost of $30/person. Yes, you get access to the amenities(bars, pools, entertainment) at RPC, but the only restaurants included in the base luxury package are everything at Splash, and the sports bar, Grazie, and Jade at RPC. Also, sports bar was very busy during our stay with the Leafs playoff, and chicken wings ran out and were never restocked during our stay. Did not get to try.
@@daisand8403 yes with the payoff I’m assuming it was extremely busy at the sports bar. I was there in February around noon with pretty much no vacationers at the sport bar. There’s two a la carte restaurants you need to pay for at an extra cost of 30$ usd each but having the diamond club package was almost 1000$ can per person so really worth the money in my opinion.
Despite having to pay extra for the two a la cart restaurants and having an overcrowded sports bar hope you had a great time.

@@daisand8403 Your comment makes more sense. Regular Splash customers are not supposed to eat in RPC buffets or restaurants since price in Splash is much lower. Thanks for the info.
do we have to make reservations for the restaurants? because we went to Jamaica in May and didn't know we had to make reservations so it sucked we didn't get to get into most of them because they where booked
They don’t take any reservations at the a la carte restaurant, first come first served.

The food was great as much as for the buffet or the a la cartE. If ur looking for the a la carte ull need to b early as there’s no reservations. For lunch , Near the aqua park theres a place called Bites where u can grab some burgers n hot dogs n on the Punta Cana side the sports bar and the beach grill r awesome. @@kellymartin2793 at this resort the beach wasn’t really wide but it was free from seaweeds. If you go the the right of the resort the beach is wider. Nice white sandy beaches
we're going July 31st . No diamond club. Wondering if there is beach bar for the non diamond members?
I didn’t take the diamond club package as it’s really not worth it in my opinion. While we were there in the diamond club section there was lots of young families with kids making lots of noise. At the beach you can pay a vip section for 100$ usd n again in my opinion really not worth it. You’ll get some really good service no matter what. There’s butlers all over the resort. Ok so the Royalton is in three sections. Royalton splash family friendly, Royalton Punta Cana closer the to beach and also family friendly and the Royalton hideaway adults only. We were at the plash location and we had all access to the amenities of the enter resort to the exception of the two for the a la cart restaurants that all guess had to pay. Honestly from the splash lobby to the beach ur looking at a 10 min walk so if your travelling with kids or teens in my opinion your better off at the splash location. Shuttles are also available throughout the resort from the splash to the beach if you don’t want to walk but you might be waiting long as it’s not really a far distance to walk. Hope this was some helpful information.

Is there a block you recommend staying at? Do you need reservations at any of the restaurants?
Depending if you’re with kids or not. We were in block B28 in front of the water park. We have no kids but it was nice to b close to the park, the main pool and the buffet. Walking distance to the beach from that block was less than 10 minutes plus the shuttle bus was not far away from that block. Also the coffee bar, ice cream bar, snack bar was across the street from that block. Going back I would recommend going back to that block.

Thanks. What about transportation to and from airport. What do you recommend?
@@dinour if your booking an all inclusive for instance with Sunwing, a shuttle will be available for you at the airport to the hotel and back to the airport the following week. Be in the lookout for your airline rep “Sunwing” and ask them what shuttle goes to the Royalton Splash and they will guide you. You’re looking at a 50 min shuttle ride from the airport to the resort depending on how many stops you’ll be doing on you way.
I heard the resort is not on the beach. It’s behind another resort. How long does it take to get to the beach. Is this a mega resort?
Thanks for your comment Lisa. I would say that the resort is mega but it’s also not on the small side. From the lobby to the beach your looking at 10 to 15 min. There’s also so shuttles that drives by every 20 min or so. Staying at the splash location is also cheaper then the Punta Cana side but you will also have access to all amenities. There’s two restaurant that you need to pay for if you want to go and it doesn’t matter if your on the Punta Cana or splash location everybody needs to pay. I think we were in block 22 or 24 infront of the aqua park and we had about 5 to 7 min of walk to the beach.

all of them are free including the ones on the Splash location. there's one or two on the Punta Cana side that you need to pay for but I don't remember what was the name of it.

the beach is far?
Some would say yes but I don’t think so. The video is less than 20 min plus I have the intro in there. From the lobby to the beach you’re looking at 10 to 15 min walk at the most. From my block ( B28) which is located in-front of the aqua park was 5 min away. There’s also some shuttles that drives by every 10 to 15 min. You’ll pay less at the splash location and you’ll have access to all the amenities of the Royalton Punta Cana as well. If you like sports bar they have an awesome one with the best chicken wings in Punta Cana !!!
Do they have a night club and good for 18 yr olds?
Yes there's a teens club, arcades and a virtual game location as well as two or three restaurants where you can get some hotdogs, hamburgers, fries and sandwiches all in the same area.
is this a beach front property?
The splash location no. You’ll need to walk about 10 minutes from the lobby or you can take a shuttle free of charge to the beach. The Royalton Punta Cana which you will also have access to all amenities and the Royalton Hideaway are on the beach. In my opinion if you’re on a budget not worth spending the extra money.
