Cuerda de las Banderillas - Sierra de Segura

MTB trip from the Llanos de Arance campsite by the GR-7 markings up to the Borosa river, following the path of the lagoon of Valdeazores through the tunnels of the Organs. The road climbs up to the Fuente Bermejo pass and continues to the former control of Rambla Seca. Through the Cañada del Pinar Negro, a labyrinth of mountain pastures, blocks of lapiaz and limestone hills, to the top of the Banderillas. Funny descent connecting with the GR-7 in the Hoya del Ortigal followed by the difficult descent to Cortijo de la Fresnedilla, at the source of the Aguamula river. The limestone towers of the Banderillas emerge into the sky like inverted cliffs in a paradise of rock and water. The next section is a descent of 12 km along the Aguamula forest track that ends near the campsite.
