Thank you for making this beautiful video, I am planning to move to Tasmania next year…. 🙏🏽✈️🥰
Hi Denni, I am so glad to hear you enjoy the video. Tasmania is a beautiful part of Australia. So much to uncover! When is your move??
As a local of Launceston and a Tasmanian, I always lap up any content about my home haha, glad you loved it so thoroughly (as in the whole series), but there's so much more to offer next time 'round. Might I recommend the north-west coast and also the Cradle Mountain + Central Highlands, absolutely stunning areas. But yeah Launie is a pretty sleepy place but eh you gotta go to the cataract gorge and its surroundings next time, It's beautiful and good to go for a walk and swim around if you don't find it too bloody freezing that is.
Yes! Agreed there is SO MUCH more to see. We went for a week and jammed packed a bit too much for such a short amount of time. Next time i just want to focus on the north or south. My dream would be to see the aurora australis one day. Cradle Mountain also looked amazing. Will be definitely returning to Tassie to see more! Thanks for the tips :)
@drowsy drongo hey! in 2 months time Im moving to launceston for a few months for work as a local have you got any recommendations on activities and adventures, Thanks in advance!
Your videos are great as always! Thank you for a nice watch and have a fantastic day!!

Hi Gerald, thank you so the kind words. Really happy to hear you enjoyed the video! xx
What’s the better option , Melbourne or Tasmania?we have the options to choose any one, moving from U AE, Dubai
Hi Tanya, hope you are well! Are you asking which state would be better to live in or to visit?
Awesome Vid 🙏❤
Thank you! As a one woman band, that means a lot! 🙏
Amazing video. Can’t wait for my own Tasmania adventure 🇦🇺
Thanks Beryl! Really glad you enjoyed it! Are you heading to Tassie soon?!
Probably 2022, with all the lockdowns and uncertainty, it’s a bit difficult at the moment, as living in London. I’ll continue to get my Aussie adventure fix on CZcams for now. Looking forward to the next video!
I feel ya! Glad I am able to share the my travel experiences with you! Episode 2 coming out this weekend!
Excited to see what else you get up to in our little state!! So much to do in Launnie, kayaking on the river, abseiling in the Gorge, the wetlands the wineries! You definitely needed a little longer. About to watch vlog 2! I've subscribed purely on the back Of your Tassie vlogs. Well done!
@@nataliekeane8944 Hi Natalie, thank you so much for your comment! Really glad you enjoyed Ep 1 & I hope you liked Ep 2! Make sure to look out for Ep 3 coming soon! Defiantly wasn't in Launnie or Tassie for long enough. We travelled around for 7 days and barely scratched the surface! Definitely planning to go back. :) I want to see the aurora australis!
Such a calming video! Btw I would be scared of crocodiles being in that water!!! Ballsy you are!
Don't worry, there are none in here ;)
@@SophiesTravelSecrets nice!!! That would have been my biggest worry but since it’s alligator and croc free I would swim in it all day!
launceston.. sleepy.... hobart is yet to wake up :) its equally sleepy and the place sleeps by 7 pm :) when I woke up, I was one of the few up :)
Hobart is next on my list! Sleepy can be good! ;) Absolutely loved Tasmamia. Can’t wait to go back and explore more! X
My daughter will start her uni now, and son will be in year 8, pls suggest what should we do?
Lovely! What time of year are you looking to travel to Australia?

Hello 👋
Hi there! Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed learning about Tassie and had a chance to check out the other epodes. Tasmania is such a beautiful place! :)
You lot don't pronounce it properly. It should be 'Lawn stuhn'
My apologies Martyn, I will definitely work on my pronunciation with my accent. 😉 Thank you for the feedback. I hope you enjoyed the video! x
@@SophiesTravelSecrets actually, I'm not sure of the pronunciation there. Here in Cornwall, UK. Which is the original... it seems to be pronounced differently. So I'm probably wrong. But great video anyway. Have a good day 😊
@@SophiesTravelSecrets Your pronunciation was pretty spot on actually.
The two different Launcestons do have different pronunciations -- the Cornish is as the commenter says, but here in Tasmania is a bit different (as are many names).
In an Australian accent it's "lonsestn" or "lonnie" (Launnie) for short. Mainland Australians often say "lawn-sestn" though.
In an American accent the way you said it is best, because it is how it would be pronounced naturally in that accent, which makes sense.
