I could only imagine how fast he could get without the chain during his prime.

Much respect! When would you recommend a student begin utilizing such equipment? I liken it to athletes wearing weighted vests but I would imagine it may be to much for beginners.

You are right. This is not for the beginners. This is good for black belt.

Their positions seem very long to me to be Shito Ryu style.🤔

I have mixed feelings about this. It may be good at the start but the benefits may begin to fade. At first it is a bit difficult and is a good exercise but over time your body adapts (you get more fit/stronger) and unless you add weight there is no longer any stress to the body or muscles. Your body adapts and gets used to it. Much like weight lifting, you don't lift the same weight all your life. Even runners...over time either they run faster or add miles or decrease rest times, add hills etc. You have to increase the workload. Otherwise, although they are always moving, which is good, they are no longer progressing. I see so many joggers in my area who jog daily but are over weight and look out of shape. This is because they have been running the same path for years with no progression in the work load.
