I feel you, me and a couple friends went to Kentucky and went up the natural bridge and got lost so we spent about 4 hours going up and down it to eventually found our way back to the golf course

So one time in fifth grade I went on this school trip to this camp where the counselors decided to take us hiking. We were going up this mountain and the path was pretty thin so as I was walking with my friends, one of them decided to “accidentally” almost push me off a cliff. Yay for friendship and all that!

I had a similar story where I hiked a mountain at my summer camp and got separated from the rest of our group with my friend and we drink some water from a random Creek and then when I went home I got sick. I think it was from the creek

For our field trip we hiked, up two mountains in the pouring rain with not enough lunch and apparently a total of 10 miles. And while we were doing this we had to keep stoping cause half the group were going at about 0.1 miles an hour!

Man, I know your pain. Literal pain - my knees feel like that every time me and my family go hiking, which means... About 6-7 times a year. It is really bad for me some times and I often feel like I'm dying right before we get to the top. But the view makes up for everything (most of the times anyway :D). Here in Bulgaria there are a lot of mountains and hiking really is a popular activity and you'd think that after doing it so many times I'd be used to the pain, but nope. Sadly, each year it gets worse for me. But hiking is a family tradition and in the end I'm always glad that I've done it
