Side note, the dramatic snake eye chase actually special summons Diabellstar herself, because you can banish chase in grave to special summon it. Would personally keep it because it turns the Diabellstar engine online if you don’t have a way and is searchable.

Im still not sure if i like it pure or Fk yet… so far pure has been good to me but still feels like fk has a higher ceiling and is better breaking boards etc
Personally I believe both the fire king version and pure version are just as good against none snake-eye decks as each other, but in the “mirror” match I’ve always felt safer with the fire king stuff. They’re good and breaking boards and the extra grind the fire king stuff gives makes me always stay 1 step ahead. Also whenever I’ve played against the pure, hitting their way into jet always makes a board that isn’t as hard to break since they’re not always drawing a tone of non engine. My only concern with pure is dark ruler. Dark ruler sucks if you’re not playing snake-eye since it loses your battle phase and you die, but in the mirror if I can break your board and set up my grind there’s a good chance with the fire king stuff I can outpace the match which is generally how it goes. In saying that, I play 14 fire king cards so I generally see more which helps for the grind as well. One thing I love about this format, despite it being tier 0 snake-eye, is that there’s two very different play styles rather than 1 version that has to be played since it’s miles ahead of the other.
Granted it's anecdotal evidence, but I've yet to drop a match to the FK version and I've played a good handful of them. The snake eye ceiling just feels so much higher than the FK one. The space needed for the FK cards can be dedicated to so many other things
my deck is almost the same the only difference is the relinquished anima instead of the whale and only 1 poplar
I have pretty much everything except bonfire and 2 of the synchros. I just cant justify the price. Its not that people dont have the money, financially speaking its a terrible purchase for a depreciating niche item.
That's totally within your right. I understand the price point isn't for everyone. But this video was made for the people that want to play this deck in the best possible capacity. Especially if you intend to play at a high competitive level such as a regional or YCS.

I explained in the video why there's no droll. Veiler is better because it negates both effects of cards like snake eye ash and oak, making it a 2 for 1. And in the upcoming combo tutorial I'll be showcasing how you full combo through droll
Droll is useless in the mirror, and so is Nib.
@@fuddyduddie1205 100% correct. Both cards can be full combo'd through. I took 12th at regionals this weekend and neither of those cards stunted me at all
Bonfire is not Mandatory people cards like prosperity can be a good substitute for bonfire. With its ups and downs.
Saying it's "Just as good" is sadly just flat out not true. A random chance of seeing a card is never as good as a guaranteed search of a card. Not to mention in this deck specifically, the extra deck is WAY too tight to be banishing anything from it let alone 3 to 6 cards. I totally understand a card being out of your budget, but it is no where near as good as Bonfire.
@@SuperInsaiyan18 as someone who also plays the deck yes bonfire guarantees the search I didn’t say better than bonfire but it facilitates the search for play starters that’s more to some people’s budget and also the extra deck is not as “tight” as u say. It’s true if you go for the promethian amblowhale, Phoenix, Zealantis and such then yes obviously because that’s 1 extra deck version I agree the 3 synchros and the 2 charmers S.P, and everything else aside from the 4 are 100% mandatory no doubt. I’ve been cooking with some pros and good friends of mine like Christian Urena, and Edgar Rodriguez theirs a version were u play double Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix for a board clear of your opponent then otk and remaining in that extra deck for that version is super poly targets. Then theirs a myakashi version were it’s also very strict extra deck but instead of otk your locking your opponent from special summoning from extra and preventing them from otk you!
@@TheRealYahBoiYeet Again, i fully respect and understand looking for budget alternatives... But i never accused you of saying Prosp was better. your exact wording was "it's just as good" and that's simply not true. Let's ignore the specific deck/card we're talking about and just look at it from a generic deck building standpoint. Any Random card from your deck is NEVER "just as good" as a guaranteed search. Can you play prosperity in place of bonfire if you'd rather spend $4 instead of $100? Sure. Will you POSSIBLY hit the target you'd bonfire for? Every once in a while.
I'm not trying to invalidate your opinion on a "budget option". I just want people who read this comment thread to understand that there are very important differences between the two cards.

I’d say Where Arf Thou and Small World are better budget alternatives because they GUARANTEE the hit.
