Technically hospital staff aren't really meant to do that sort of thing yeah, but sometimes on rare occasions some of the staff and patients to get to know each other when patients are in a position that causes them to remain in the hospital over a long period of time. Though by this point Jin-Woo isn't a patient anymore. Plus this is more of the anime making fun of a common trope used in other anime series.

The evil strike team is confident in defeating the boss on their own without Jinwoo and Jinho, they just used them as bait to put the spider back to sleep after it eats them. Afterwards their plan is to come back in and start mining as much of the mana crystals as they can before the boss wakes back up from the disturbance.
The gate will remain open for a total period of 7 days before it becomes a dungeon break or the boss is defeated. Once the boss is defeated, the dungeon will close in one hour, so they will literally be in a race against time to haul out as much as they can before that or they will be trapped, potentially forever (cases of this have happened before, which is mentioned in the manhua at some point).
Oh gotcha! I didn't think about them 'feeding' the spider to put it back to sleep so they could go back in to get the mana crystals! makes sense!
