Could you please tell me what the measurement of the waist is? I started a petal dress and the top was super tiny. Nobody ever says in inches what the waist measurement is.

@@genevievegreene1595if you're making this for yourself, simply measure your waist and subtract approx. 2" I say to subtract because the yarn will stretch about 4 inches.
I feel like combining this with the top half of one of your dresses or tops would look amazing.
That's exactly what I'm working on. I'm using the top from her Little Black Crochet Dress. I think the finished product will look awesome, especially with the yarn I'm using.
Woo hoo! I did it - I finished this skirt and I love it! Thank you so much for this pattern and tutorial. (With the help of your tutorial I thought I could make this skirt, but I wasn't sure I would FINISH it! :) ) I added a few more rows of dc at the top, folded it over, and added an elastic waistband, and voila! Again, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it and thank you!

I just finished my skirt today! Thank you so much for this nice pattern, it was very easy to follow you with the instructions. I’m looking forward to crochet something else from your videos. My skirt was made with the same yarn but i choose a skein with brown, pink and red. I had to add elastic on the waist because it turned out to be to big, but now it’s perfect.
clever little thing to remember so as not to twist the chain. So much easier than following the chain back to the beginning. Thank you. Love the pattern too.

I love that technique you are doing for the waist. I tried to do that and it does work makes crocheting so much easier when you have to make a big Circle.

This may not have been most peoples idea of a learning project but right now I’m a little past midi length and working closer to the end each day. Thank you for making this so easy to follow… should be great for summer nights since I decided to try with a thicker weight yarn so it will be like wearing a lap blanket

I have been doing this skirt for a month now and finally at the end. I want to make a cord to go through the top so it fits my daughter better. I made the waist too large but it worked out fine as the skirt now is fuller and has lovely balance, My daughter wants me to add sunflower appliques to the skirt,,, will do that while sewing in my ends. Love you and your cat. what a pleasant voice and a beautiful cat you have.

I love this skirt, even bought WOLLTRAUM yarn but black to blue to purple to pink. I added a row of double crochet, chain 1, double crochet, etc as row 3 and wove in a belt.

In your search blog section, said there is no listing for the Colorado Maxi Dress. I'd really like to see the sizes to figure out how much yarn I'd need. My sister is very tall and not a small girl. Love the skirt, and the colorways are gorgeous! Hardest part is picking the color. 'Butterfly Dreams' is a top choice for us, so far ... :-)
