아무리봐도 지창욱이랑 송윤아가 러브라인이었어야 했는데 꼭 예쁜 멜로만 멜로인가 가슴 아프고 애틋한 멜로 이루어질 수 없지만 손잡을 수밖에 없는 멜로였야했다 드라마 끝나고나서도 윤아랑 멜로가 맞지 송윤아는 에이 아니지 이랬는데 보면 볼수록 이쪽이 찐임 만약에 이렇게 갔으면 훨씬 더 기억남고 두고두고 훨씬 많이 찾아봤을 것 같음 생각만해도 서로가 서로를 어떻게 바라볼지 눈물이 나오지 않을 수가 없음

최유진 진짜 나올 때마다 그 표정이 있음. 악역이란 설정인데 왠지 쓸쓸해보이고 사랑을 갈구하는 느낌.. 그런의미에서 총까지 겨눈 사이임에도 처음으로 날 위해 목숨까지 바쳐가며 지켜준 사람이라니 얼마나 큰 존재로 다가왔겠어... 진짜 최유진은 재하를 성애적 감정이라기보다 인간적으로 사랑하고 괜한 질투와 서운함까지 느끼게한 유일무이한 존재라고 봄
유진이 가장 아끼는 거울이까지 제하에게 준 거 보면 유진은 정말 제하를 많이 믿었던 거 같음 ㅠㅠ,, 사실 제하가 서사상으로 유진과 연결되긴 힘들지만 그래도 끝까지 사모님 옆을 지키는 든든한 보디가드 정도라도 원했는데 갑자기 안나로 갈아타서 넘 실망이었음,, 그냥 처음에 유진제하 그대로 밀고 나가서 이 둘 러브라인으로 끝내는 것도 나쁘지 않았을텐데..

송윤아가 김제하를 자꾸만 예외로 두는 게 너무 좋았음
최유진 캐릭터가 너무 매력적이었음. 안나도 충분히 서사있고 매력있는 캐릭터였지만 이 드라마 자체가 남주인 제하 위주의 시선으로 돌아가다보니 안나한테는 스포트라이트가 상대적으로 좀 덜 가서 사건에 깊이 개입되고 심지어는 사건을 직접 만들기까지 하는 최유진한테 약간 밀린 느낌...ㅠㅠ
개인적으로는 최유진이 잘못한 게 뭐가 있나 싶음. 아버지는 어머니 죽고 어린 비서 새 부인으로 들여서 아들낳고. 악착같이 자기 자리 지키려고 애쓰던 최유진 앞에 열정 가득, 순수하고 정의로운 사람인 척 탈 쓰고 연기하며 수작부린 장세준은 사실 다른 여자와 딸까지 낳은 채로 최유진 배경 하나 이용하려고 결혼했으니ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
김제하 만난 뒤에도 제하가 계속 당신은 누군가를 위해서 눈물 흘려본 적 있냐, 당신은 모른다 비난하는 거 완전 짜증. 최유진은 처음부터 말했음. 나는 내 사람들을 배신해본 적 없다고. 그 말이 어떤 의미겠음. 누군가를 위해 눈물 흘릴 기회도 가져보지 못한 사람이라는 거잖음. 근데 것도 모르고 최유진 끝까지 안 믿었지. 결국 드라마에서도 최유진은 한번도 자기 편 뒷통수 치거나 배신한 적 없음. 자길 배신한 사람들에게 철저히 복수를 하면 모를까.

Ah, also, I think this is the 2nd time of this confession. 1st time was at the hospital, she said told him she gave him access to Mirror... only him. More subtle the 1st time, but still similar sentiments... that time, at least K2 looks a little stunned with a bit of "realization"... again, subtly... 2nd time I feel not enough reaction... but... again, I understand because of the storyline... sigh... which is a pity... oh well... hahaha...
Ah... later after the show ended, JCW did say in interview that he wished the Yujin Jeha Anna storyline can be expanded in more details, and it's a regret the show didn't spend more time doing that. He felt there could be more and stronger push-pull tension among the characters (I agree for Yujin's storyline, I feel the fans for this couple feel they didn't get enough of their chemistry and scenes!), and also do more to explain why Jeha&Anna came to have feelings for each other (many fans also complain they don't feel the connection, how they build up to the love... and mock, just from the ramyeon scene? Which is so childish in many more mature audience's view... ha...).
Anyways, sorry, what's my point? Ah... So.. yes, their chemistry is so good... and I think many fans felt they didn't get enough of them. And I agree with JCW about adding more to the storylines to explore the relationship of the characters, indeed it would inflict more dramatic and emotions from the viewers.
Sorry, I went on a tangent again, my thoughts float from 1 place to another. About JCW's comments about the storyline and what he wishes the writing can add or focus more on, really shows that he is not just an actor, but one that really drills into the script and storytelling and characters and their thoughts and emotions. So I like that in his later works, where with his established stature and relationship with the writers and directors, it seems he has an even closer working role with them, as he described the pre-planning process for The Worst of Evil, how he discussed and reviewed and adjusted the script with the writer and director for a long time. The director also praised JCW in interviews of JCW's contributions to the drama beyond just the role of an actor. When he won best Director, he also thanks JCW for helping him make good choices. So... I'm glad in his more recent works, especially Worst of Evil (bc he revealed a lot of behind details working on it), it seems whatever regrets he had in K2 with the storyline and character developments (lack of), at least he seemed to have been able to achieve that in his later works. Really admire him as an actor. :-)
Ah... last thought, promise... (sorry, I know I am writing in a different language... don't mind me... I am writing more for self-relief of my thoughts, just your comment seemed to me in the similar mindset when I read it, so I decided to camp under your comment here... ha)
In several interviews after K2 finished broadcast, of course the interviewers will always ask how it was acting against Song Yoona vs Lim Yoona (both same name, funny).
With Song Yoona (Yujin character), he sais bc she is such a great senior actress with great stills, bc she was so concentrated and immersed during scenes, they he ALSO become very concentrated acting with her. Made me remember many great actors (all countries, including Hollywood) often say how when they face a very good actor, their own acting gets elevated even more when acting with them. So I feel what JCW explained about the concentration, it's like how I hear many other actors described. Song Yoona's skills helped challenge and bring out more from JCW, so not only was she concentrated and immersed in her role, it also made JCW having to bring his own concentration to act with her to MATCH. He said after acting with her scenes, he will fell drained, because he was so focused. That's a really good sign for actors, that they met their match for their skills. Ah, JCW also said he loves playing football (soccer) with players that are very skilled level. I feel when he's acting, that's the same way? Bc playing with highly skilled people also make you bring out more for yourself. Many people often praise the Jeha & Yujin scenes have so much chemistry. I think on top of basic chemistry, it is also because the 2 actors were really skilled and immersed in each other's acting that their concentration also brought so much tension and feeling to their scenes. So good!
Like (see, another tangent thought)... in Samdalri, in Shin Hye-Sun's interview, she said in 1 scene, after seeing JCW's eyes watching her after saying his lines, her tears wouldn't stop, kept flowing, so she just continued to act with that emotion. She said the emotions JCW conveyed in that scene was so affecting that her own emotions just came out uncontrollably, and made her thought, is this what her character is feeling, like this? And good on the director and JCW, when Shin Hye-Sun couldn't stop her tears, they just continued to let the scene play out, gave her space and time to let her play thru the emotions naturally. They know what actors need at those moments. I think it really shows how much good actors and directors and writers can really elevate the end results... AND the process of acting... that it can actually bring them senses of happiness and fulfillment from their work. Wow. :-)

I was also... :-( But from episode 1, it's kind of obvious... actually, from promo stage to press conference, it's obvious also... The show took the "typical" safe direction... for mass appeal. I think it's harder, especially in older times, for mainstream channels (even though TVN is cable) and primetime, to be more adventurous with storyline. Also, the idol fans that watched the show for Yoona + JCW couple, they would be upset (but like us, different demographics viewers, we are upset Yujin isn't the couple... ha). So while disappointed, but understandable. Maybe if it was a more mature or 17 rated show, like these days, they OTT shows, maybe the production would dare to go outside of the "stereotypical kdrama box" more when it doesn't have the pressures and constraints of mainstream primetime TV channels. There are specific "moral values" to be promoted on the mainstream channels. A noona-romance, especially she's still married (but cheating husband is less of a taboo?)... I don't think is what the network/channel and "advertisers" want... Less controversy = more advertiser $$$... sigh.... So I guess just watch these shows for what it is on the surface value. Ha
