- I noticed Queen Bee was way tougher in Master mode than Expert, so after I got around it smoothly I thought it'd be a good idea to make a video.
You can easily get better gear than what I had (example: Meteor armor/gun, demon scythe, dungeon weapons, molten armor), which would make the fight even easier, it's all down to getting the timings and predicting her moves rather than reacting to them. - Hry

It’s dumb in normal mode I drowned myself in honey with the bezor and a mini shark and won before three cycles expert (I haven’t won >_>) and master is just fuck you take the moves at once with a side of poison
I didn’t know she would get enraged on the surface, somehow me and my friend beat her.
I didnt know that surface battle is harder.... that explains why she killed me 5 times

Cheese strats are no longer viable for this boss, fighting her on surface is like fighting plantera on surface, - a death sentence, which is why I made this video :) We need to properly fight her now!
Im so dumb, didn't realize how much faster she was above ground. It was literal aids trying to fight her. I was able to clutch it and beat her above ground after a couple tries with a good prehard mode mage build and a couple strats :P
It's a bad idea in expert mode too ? Because i tried it many times and it didn't go as planned :)

Fun hint: you can spam spike balls on the platform before the fight. When she charges she'll go trough them all taking some damage. Also decent help againts her bees and other enemies that find their way into the arena.
I did this and lets just say it do not that much of a damage but the bees dies when they come after me.

I'm going to comment here so my experience may help someone else still struggling after this video. This was with two players.
The first thing is that HER DASHES ARE REALLY CHAOTIC WITH TWO PLAYERS! This is a big deal! If you and the other player aren't super in-sync (which is hard mid fight), this phase will do a lot of damage! Onto the items used.
Potions: Regeneration, Ironskin, Swiftness, Healing Potion, Mana Potion.
Placed Items: Jungle Torches (Luck), Campfires, Healing Lanterns, Small Honey Pool, *NO* Normal Torches, Ammo Box
My used armor was Meteor Armor.
My used weapons were the Mythical Space Gun (important as it has a speed modifier), Nasty Demon Scythe (more on this with strategy), Deadly Crimson Rod, Demonic Imp Staff, and a Godly Amazon/Godly Fiery Sword in case the bees were too much.
My used equipment was: Quick Worm Scarf, Quick Bezoar, Quick Blizzard in a Bottle, Angry Frostspark Boots, Menacing Shield of Cthulhu, Angry Brain of Confusion,
Player 2 was using Molten Armor and a Godly Amazon Yoyo with a (Fast Modifier) Minishark for when things were too intense (Silver Bullets).
They had similar equipment but more Warding and instead of a Bezoar they had Shark Tooth Necklace. They were definitely the tankier of the both of us.
We both also had the flamingo mount for the instant speed it gives you.
We fought the bee in an underground arena made with spaced platforms like you would see in the video, although we had about three rows. Before we started, we placed Crimson Rod Clouds and spawned our Imps (keep the clouds up throughout the fight). We also dipped in the honey and used our potions. Switching aggro (if possible) is helpful for running to the honey.
The poison dart phase requires running side to side without dropping momentum (that's what I did), so don't run into a wall. The bee killing phase was mostly cared for by my Meteor Gun, but you will still need to melee a few bees. Now the important part is the dash phase. The Demon Scythe was instrumental for us because the Queen Bee would run right through the projectiles, so they could be spammed at max mana with Mana Pots. In hindsight, Player 2 could have thrown spikeballs down too, so consider this.
Even as the fight gets faster, all of this information still remains true, and just requires better timing and a bit of luck. Unfortunately for us, our luck got shaky at the end. I died in the enrage phase and respawned at our house (in retrospect, we should've had a closer bed), and then P2 died. I had to solo the angry (on the surface) enrage phase queen bee on a surface boss arena we made for Eye of Cthulhu. Demon Scythe, however, got us the win. The lingering projectiles were enough to finish the boss off while she dashed me to death.
Okay, I think that's it. Hopefully any of this might help. Let me know if I missed anything.
Edit: To farm money for reforging, we spam-killed both Brain of Cthulhu and Eater of Worlds, and sold the ore they drop. Selling Obsidian Skulls works too.

Gaming Tempo what mode are u on skeleton is easy just use a yo-yo or gun I’m on master
Ah no im done with some dumb luck like a shooting star i won
Quick tip: Pressing B with potions uses all of them at the same time (that's the Default PC keybind)
Also, you get I-frames when smashing into foes with the Cthulu shield. With this knowledge and some good timing, you can charge into the queen bee as she's charging you to avoid/negate the damage of the charge. :)
In master mode + for the worthy she change the direction of her charge immediately after you dashing to her and the shield's CD is not enough to dodge that next charge trapping you in her charge combo and dealt massive damage. So I don't recommend doing that while she is charging.

This guide really helped, thanks! I don't recommend using the minishark- on her last phase, it'll only do 1-3 damage per shot.

I only used this trick in my summoner run, but it's pretty efficient on any class, you can dig a big space for an arena and then put a big block (at least 5x5) in the middle, during the boss fight you can then circle around that block to keep her chasing you, it's kind of like a cheese really
I think an amazing thing to have for this battle is the slimy saddle mount, which allows you to jump higher to dodge the charge attack
I find your guides really helpful hopefully your channel blows up soon when new terraria players need help
I have two questions. Master mode has given me a very hard time. I'm stuck on skeletron. 1.) Who should i kill first? Skeletron or queen bee. 2.) Who is easier. Thank you for your time. Also thank you, these guides have helped me out a lot.
Queen Bee is easier but if you learn Skeletron's pattern then it can be even easier than Queen Bee. So, as a first time master player go into bee first

You can go do hellstone farming with obsidian skin potions before skeltron. Just get the pick from evil biome in your world, then go down, chug down an obsidian skin and go diving. All you have to watch out for is the occasional imp and bone serphant. Would give a solid boost to defense, or just give the imp to assist.

Nah, she is tough, but nowhere near skeletron level. I would even argue that master mode skeletron is the hardest pre hardmode boss.
@@petrkuklinek5222 for me, I can beat skeletron almost no-hit with just rocket boots and shield of cthulhu. That's why I think queen bee is tougher

It is also usefull to have a bezoar equipped, it gets rid of her ability to poison you.
Also a flail like the Meatball or it's corruption counterpart is good to clear bees by just swigning it around

remember, if u try to use magic mirror during the fight, it can pursue u (i mean it will chase u) then attack very fast and wont stop until the player dies or kills them
I also suggest slimy saddle if You can get one the mount jump and get off quick after You dodge it’s easy to avoid the attacks for those slow I did follow this and it works just got to be quick it’s perfect for up and downs if she goes too fast and your reaction time is slower

That jump boost is insane
bezoar helps a lot especially expert and above because debuffs like poison lasts a lot longer
Another tip : You can use the idk whats it called the black cat statue found in the underground desert and it gives 5+ defense.. might help idk
A big arena helps more than you think. This fight was one of the easiest for me on master, by FAR. It was kinda shocking tbh. You dont have to fight her in the hive, make a big arena. It trivializes the fight.
You used to be able to charge into her with the cthulu stuff, so you wont get damaged, does it still working?
Yes but it's iffy, sometimes you get damaged, sometimes you don't. I dont recommend it.

Hey, I got an idea to deal it,but I have not tried it yet.
It is about to spray Spiky Ball on the platform when you can not touch her .
As she would charge on it , so I think some nice damage can be done.

For melee I recommend a large sword to kill all the best and a yo-yo or the large sword to attack
would a slimy saddle work well as a mobility item? since its important to jump out of her way fast
Slimy saddle is definitely a great choice against her, but I feel you have better control over yourself with the accessories
@@CatPlayer Thanks for the guide! :) I did her first try and was very over prepared. The saddle did get me caught up on the little bees she spawns and trapped me at the ceiling a couple times but it worked out just fine. I was just too lazy to find a sky island and fish
Minishark with meteor bullets is my preferred weapon
Back before the 1.3 update i defeated her using the FLARE GUN the fire debuf did 4x 23 damage per second. It was so usefull back then on mobile
I also suggest using spiky balls from goblin army for her ramming attacks

In my opinion the thornwip wasn't necessary as much same with one extra movement thing like the frog IF you know how to use the hook well.
having a bezzor would help a lot i think you took around 200ish damage with poison alone trough the regeneration items really REALLY helped you coulda blasted the small bees if you aimed at them a few times because of they speed they mostly keep up with you so u can just point black shot them
What equipment should i use when i am a mage, it is my first time playing mage.
to be honest when i first fought her in master mode i got in a really good apot in the air and shreaded her hp with my arkhalis to like halfway, but then i was overwhellmed from the unbelivably tiny fight space i had to work with and was eventually killed

I had beaten eye of cthulhu, eater of worlds and jelly king i have shadow armor, quadro shotgun and boomstick, speed boots, worm scarf, cthulhu shield. I cant beat skeletron, Should i go for bee, because wall of meat is not an option since it is master mode and my character cant survive at hell. oh i have meteor armor with space gun but it does not work too. I builded a long ramp to the house but still skeletron catches me.

Another pro tip: In case of an emergency you can just teleport to the spawn and she will follow you after a few seconds which gives enough time to heal or even use the nurse
This is a terrible strategy, she enrages outside of underground jungle.
this can be a good strategy when used with the potion of return.

Hey Brian! I could make a video eventually but that will take sometime, as editing takes time and this is not my full time job. What I can do to help you right now is send you a link to the wiki. To craft potions you need a bottle made from glass placed on a table, and you need bottled water AND placed bottle for buff potions. for bottled water just craft them with glass and then go to a body of water and use crafting menu to create bottled water. Then from there you need to understand crafting recipes:

Lol i still used the nurse heal on this one and she pulled me through just like old times hahaha XD... except its now underground and i still dont have meteor armor because of the progression change. Used crimson bow with jesters arrow and boomstick.
I would recommend to get bezoar, and a really wide arena
I didn't really notice much of a change from a wide arena to a smaller one. Dodging back and forth and up / down works without kiting. The eye of Cthulhu shield that lets you dash makes the fight a lot easier, since you can either jump over or counter-charge her during the side-to-side phase if you can't get out of the way in time. Also makes dodging the poison darts easier.
@@MoltenMouseMetal Smaller arenas also make it so when shes off screen, she can't shoot stingers. Since we have less hp than she does, this helps actually! Wide arenas are better for those that know they wont get hit, since they dont need the grace of dealing with her dmg.
@@MoltenMouseMetal Wider arena just help with vision and less crowded, adding blocks on each sides can also help you with dodging her stings.
How did you get meteor armor?
I didn't have meteor armor, I had the classic Shadowscale set which I luckily got while running through corruption. For the meteor armor, you need to kill either Brain of Cthulhu or Eater of Worlds. Wait a few nights, and you will see a meteor fall in the background and shortly after a message will pop-up talking about the landing. You CAN'T use any kind of explosives as of 1.4.0.2 (Dynamite, Bombs, Scarab Bombs) to destroy meteor blocks anymore, so it will be kind of tricky to get the ore, what I do recommend is to craft a Obsidian Skull with some obsidian blocks, and equip it as it will remove the meteor block's burn damage, then patiently go at it with your pick while watching for the meteor heads trying to kill you, the Skull will make mining the ore significantly easier. The meteor, jungle, fossil, and shadowscale armor sets are what I would recommend for fighting this boss.
Does her fight change when entering hard mode?
no, but her fight changes if you're on surface. in 1.4 if you fight her on surface and not underground, she will become enraged and her attacks will become far more faster.

Definitely. But keep in mind she has a lot of armor so your DPS may not be the best.

Pink torch is made with pink gel and wood, and then 3 gold/plat bars and the pink torch and you can make a peace candle

That is good if you dont have well lit area :)
The reason he spawned queen bee manually is cause there was a hive already nearby so it would make little difference

I found that using a phoenix blaster with meteorite bullets does lots of damage and kills bees quickly.
But he's doing it with minimum requirements and you need to beat skeletron first

The boss herself isn’t as hard as the mobs that spawn. I have both sunflower and peace candle and they didn’t seem to make a difference. I can deal with the mobs while making the arena but during the boss fight is gonna be horrible and probably impossible *Edit:* I accidentally spawned and beat her 😬 GOOD VID! 👍
I learnt that its much easier to have just meteor armor and the space gun and just keep shooting while on the slime mount

Definitely viable! Space Gun is a great weapon for a good portion of the early game, you are making no mistake with it, in fact, I did this fight with weapons considered weaker just to show it can be done, you just need the technique :)
People who are struggling with this, just be glad you aren’t going up against calamity revengeance mode queen bee
i have done that and still find this hard
i have like 52 armor pre hardmode and she charges me for 30 dmg I tried 3 times with 5 potions and still too hard she just stun locks me in the air every 2sec while at below 1000hp
That is why you need a lot of vertical mobility, bee will struggle to keep up with you, giving you breathing time.
